Good questions! 

 

1. I would add in a scene somewhere in the middle of the romance where we can talk more about him and his past. One thing I really wish happened more was him talking about himself. It happens a little but... not enough. I think a scene like that would make the romance flow better as well, since it's basically like a couple funny/lighthearted scenes then bam, a couple really intense romantic scenes. A deep heart to heart talk would have been perfect in between.

I also want to know how he lost those two fingers. I looked at his model in game last night and finally came to the realization that we were right, he is missing (partially) two fingers on his left hand. Curious. I want a good story lol.

1.) I can agree with that definitely! I think a long, deep conversation where you explore each other's pasts and personas and stuff would have been perfect, maybe even discussing the rules of your relationship even deeper as well. I know some people didn't like the fact that the Inquisitor had to be the sub in the relationship, so maybe a conversation shedding light on that would have worked out greatly too!

 

2.) I guess this question might be a little redundant lmao! I think it'd be cute to have a date scene though, like having Bull take you out for a night "on the town" or something. Of course, his idea of a date could be really funny, just you guys slaughtering Vints or something lol. Or maybe even better, you're the one who can initiate the date, and take him somewhere completely out of his comfort zone, like a real date at a restaurant or some cheesy stuff. His idea of a date is probably something like slaughtering Vints or whatnot haha.

Ohh, I never noticed that! God, there's so much more I want to know about the Bull ;( This is one of the big reasons I want to continue with the Inquisitor in the next game, to keep learning about him, as well as all the other companions. I feel like one game wasn't enough with this group ;_;

So after my humiliating defeat my Messere Crestwood Dragon I hopped on over to the Western Approach to look for Tevinters. Lo and behold Serah Much Harder Dragon flies by and Iron Bull is like "we're gonna fight her boss? Tell me we're gonna fight her!"

Well, I made progress Finished the Adamant Fortress quest and made the decision that earned me "great approval." So Bull decided to start speaking to me again. I got one flirt line... was pretty ooc for my character, but unless you're playing a bi female character, beggars can't be choosers in this darn game lol Nothing really happened after that cut scene though...

It was the cut scene where he makes you hit him. Bit BDSM for my tastes lol but oh well.

Wait, what? He asks you to do that? Were you in a romance with him at the time? I never got that line/scene myself. I haven't finished the Adamantine fortress yet though, so maybe that's my problem.

Also, if you want more approval from him, I think you do need to hit him. I didn't hit him, was trying to go the sweet route, and I got a little bit of disapproval for it!

Yep, same. I skipped through the whole scene, then had to do a reload, but got my previous saves mixed up and the whole ordeal ended up taking me about 30 minues. Ugh.

Do you get special dialogue with IB if you're in a romance and you take him along to the Fortress? I heard there's some extra stuff with Dorian if you bring him along for that.

Apparently he starts being a real jerk to the Quizzie for a bit before admitting that his big fear is losing him. So cute...

I would love seeing some extra dialogue with the Bull if he goes through that, too.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is special dialogue for Bull there ;( I took him with me, but I don't remember hearing any romance-specific content when I went. I might have missed something, but I scoured that place pretty thoroughly.

So he hates demons, so he should be terrified of Cole. But instead, on one of his banters, Cole goes "Why do you protect me?" and IB says "You're a weird little kid, but you're MY kid." 

 

My heart melted into a large puddle of goo. He can do whatever he wants to my Quizzie now. She's putty in his hands.

Admittedly, I'm not the biggest fan of Cole, but that is freaking adorable as hell. Bull is the best

I know there's a lot of people who are iffy about Bull because it seems like he's super casual in his relationship with the Quizzie, and he's not flexible about the sex things, yadda yadda, but when you hear his conversations with others and how they speak to him and how he speaks to them... it's a little sad that none of them ask Bull about how he feels about the Quizzie. Because I'm pretty sure if they did that, they'd get a much deeper response than they were planning on. He cares very, very much about everyone who's important to him. It's highly endearing to me.

Funny that you mention that banter. I got that the other day & I just paused the game in shock. Knowing that he'll protect Cole just made me so happy. My headcanon was Bull & my Inquisitor keeping Cole safe from those that would bring him harm but it is a reality! *sigh* I wish that banter was on YouTube. I want to hear it again.

I think if there's DLCs (and I'm sure there will be) we'll get some expanded romantic dialogue. Hawke got plenty of extra LI comments in the DLCs with Talis and Corypheus.

I just love Bull. He's crazy in regards to a lot, but he's also crazy about the Quizzie. I may just be a romantic, but I don't think his writers or VA would disagree with that.
