So I just finished the game for the first time and that scene was adorable! Aaaah Bull, ilu. I don't think the other romances will ever be as good as his, it was just... perfect in every way, and it was crazy how well he fitted with my Lavellan's back story (based on some things he said).

 

Good times! I feel sad now... I have two more playthroughs planned but I have difficulties leaving Bull behind and start over. On the plus side I can get to know him all over again My feels are all over the place now!

I don't know which of his romance scenes is my top favorite but the last one definitely ranks high. I don't think I can possibly choose a number one (though an obvious choice would be the blinding-Cullen scene lol)

Still haven't found where the other pervy ESRB quote originates from, though. And tbh, I can't really picture any other LI besides Bull saying that line. So maybe it's from a random quest or something haha.

Anyone think that the Qunari's are a distant relation to evles, much like drows and gold elves ect of D&D. Maybe the qunari's got cursed or something and got there horns. Just a speculation.

More like blessed with a muscular structure, those sexy horns. Hell I bet when the women wrap their legs around you it is like a vice grip......okay I'll stop while I'm ahead here. Qunari if anything are descendants from the Kossith, at least that is what Bull hypotheses anyway. Maybe in the next DA this will be explored a bit more.

Out of nowhere they started talking about a "watch word" and it seems like Bull has been having rough and painful sex with my inquisitor. I was pretty weirded out by this but there were no dialogue options other than to go along with it. I wonder if there was a dialogue glitch because we had never talked about this before.

No no no no no no no. It wasn't rough and painful. It might have been rough, but only as rough as your Inquisitor would allow it (that is up to your head canon of the scene). Bull makes it VERY clear that he will not hurt you without your permission, or make you fear him (unless that is what you're into). He won't do anything without your consent. That, and he gave you 3 chances to back away and call it off in the very first scene.

 

The watchword is for obvious safety reasons; even for a Qunari Bull is a big guy. I don't know what race you play as, if you play a Qunari it wouldn't be that obvious I think, but if you pair him up with a human, an elf or a dwarf... yeah. That's why insists you have a watchword. He doesn't want to hurt you and I'm 100% convinced he'll do whatever he can to minimize it as much as possible, but with that size difference there is gonna be some.

 

I think Cole mentioned something like this in a party banter; that yes, Bull is a dominant top... but if you think about it, the inquisitor is still in charge, because he/she decides how rough (or what have you) it will go, and when it stops.

 

Just because Bull's body language when he comes on to you implies that this is gonna have a D/S theme, doesn't mean it's gonna be chains and gags and blindfolds and painful sex. I fully believe Bull can be very gentle (he has to be, he can easily break people in half if he's not careful, especially with someone smaller like an elf).

 

The fact that the Inquisitor's comfort seems to be top priority for him definitely makes him one of the best romance options in the game in my opinion. He's just an incredibly sweet caring guy.

 

Also, him bringing up that watchword is not the final scene with him There are at least two more. Keep talking to him; I promise you it will be worth it. The final scene almost made my teeth rot out with how cute it was.

I know, right? Apparently, I am really innocent and did not get it at all that this is what he meant when he says the inquisitor might not be ready for it. I mean, I gathered that he likes being on top from this, but yes. For me though, the safeword scene only made the romance better. He is so kinky mmmmm

Depends. I couldn't tell if the person I quoted had already done the... um, 'blinding Cullen' scene XD I assume he/she hadn't because they were talking about Bull bringing up the watchword thing, which is the second romance scene.

 

After that one there's still the non-cutscene part that will trigger the gift quest, the actual gift/blinding Cullen scene, and the last one after the final battle.

 

I'm actually not sure what you mean with 'the Arbor Wilds' scene... UNLESS I SOMEHOW MISSED A SCENE?! D: *panic*

Yes sorry, but I'm still not sure which one you mean. After the scene where the advisors walk in on you I didn't get another Bull scene until after the final fight with Corypheus, so unless I'm completely misunderstanding your reply or my memory is completely failing me I really have no idea what you're talking about.

 

Mind telling me what the scene is about and what is being said?
