He gets kind of worked up over the conversation at the beginning, giving you some extra dialogue.

couldn't stand him...I think he is rude and crude and I left him at camp as soon as possible..don't care how powerful he is

Oh yeah! Had Dorian with me the first time around so was pleasantly surprised to see the extra dialogue
Anyone know how I can further the romance? I did the quest about the dreadnaught & templars, killed a dragon and got a scene etc.. Do I have to kill more dragons to get more approval or something?

No worries, I haven't abandoned it! Sorry I'm taking my time, admittedly I've been caught up playing my second file on DAI. I'll try to pry myself off of it and finish up the picture, hehe.

It's the usual, lol. Steady hand, plenty of time (aka having no life), good tablet, large canvas, high pain tolerance (mah poor wrist) and lots of squinting at the screen while developing a headache, lol.

It's pretty much almost done, got a few things left to shade (ugh I hate shading so much, that is what I have NO patience for at all)
What does actually happen, if you have too low approval with Bull? Is it even physically possible do displease Bull so much? I have seen Dorian's and Solas' scenes and some lines from Varric in terms of low approval, but nothing from Bull.

I can't make myself to say nasty/mean things to Bull that would gain you disapproval from him, and most of my usual choices he likes. So I wouldn't know... but if anyone else known, I am kinda curious now as well.
I think he just ignores you mostly; I haven't heard he storms off in a rage or anything.If I displease him will he punish me? I've been very bad. In all honesty I haven't heard what Bull acts like with low approval. Pains my heart just thinking about it.

That's what I did as well.What I did was go to the Hissing Wastes and kill all the Venatori. That got his approval up enough to progress through the romance. Hope this helps you

Hm, I don't see Iron Bull approving when I kill any Venatori in the area.. 
So with the new patch in i can finally stomach a new playthrough and actually recruit the Bull (RP reasons prevented it the first time)
So...conflicted about him. On one hand, bondage domme dude who is sweet as anything and makes my knees go weak from intense attraction. On the other hand....he starts talking about the qun and make my skin crawl. Libido so confused >.< How badly do i damage the relationship with ...rather negative opinions of the qun?
Wait until you get his personal quest. Also, I don't remember getting anything but slight disapproval for not liking the Qun in conversation, and I got that only once I THINK. The Qun in general discourages romance, I expected a bit more... turmoil and angst. Even if he can technically become a Tal-Vashoth.

i know i did. i think the whole casual-commited transition happens WAY too quickly. this turmoil part would be great to ease into commited relationship and get to know him better.
now it's just: "yeah, wanna get laid boss? whatever." *gives dragon tooth* "omg, you the most beautiful person ever, i luv u!!!"
