Why lose an alliance over a single lost ship?
It is a little superficial no?
You can save Thedas anyway whether you take the allegiance or not. It doesn't affect the game in any way other than Bull's disposition. Given that fact, I will take the Chargers over the Qun any day, seeing as I believe the Qun to be a cancer to all free-willed and free-thinking individuals in Thedas.
But I suppose the Qunari wouldn't trust the Inquisition if they lost a ship, and see it like a betrayal to their entire way of life. That's their problem, in my own opinion.

Not hard enough to break that desk in his office sadly but perhaps that is for the best. I can imagine how annoying that must be to climb that ladder up to his bed.
I don't know, darlin. Cullen looks like he'd totally wreck you and leave you walking funny for days...

SpoilerEver since I read this fic I think of Alistar a little differently. Be warned that this is NSFW but chances are if I'm posting a fanfic link that it will always be NSFW since I'm a perv lol.
Edit: I have no idea on how to make that link clickable on my android. I'll fix it if need be on my computer later.
So I'm a man very much into men, yet I couldn't get halfway through this fic, not because of the content (Alistair/FWarden) but because I got too flustered. I may need to read it in three word spurts or something.

This reminds me of the very first yaoi fic I read about Yu Gi Oh. A normal person would of read it in 30 minutes. It took me 6+ hours lol. When it got into the shower scene.....wow the detail the author went into. After every two sentences I had to stop reading & walk around the living room to compose myself. After that I could never look at the YuGiOh cast the same way again.

Losing a warship and all the lives upon it is not in the least superficial.

Yes, the biggest problem is the Qunari trying to force their religion on everybody...but if the lore is anything to go by, there are plenty of people who willingly accept it and live good lives under it. I wouldn't go so far as to condemn the Qun as being bad period, just because you don't understand it.
And really, can you blame the Qunari for being upset over the loss of a warship and all the soldiers' lives aboard it? That's a much bigger deal than you seem to think.

No one understands the Qun because they don't explain it to anyone. And you know what it sounds like to me? It sounds a bit like the society in the novel The Giver, except twice as bad. It dispenses with free thinking and originality, saying that it gets in the way of the betterment of the masses. Well you know what? The history of humanity is filled with chaos and war and destruction because of this free thought, but it's also filled with unfathomable beauty in song, in art, in plays and music and a million other small things that wouldn't exist if something like the Qun was in charge. I dislike the Qun on principle because of that, but also because of the way they treat mages and anyone outside of their society. The Qun is a lie, and I proudly have my Qunari characters say this every chance they get.

May the maker guide him on his endeavor. Bring him back in one piece to the Cullenites because if you don't they'll all gang up on us Bull Riders & they outnumber us by quite a bit.

*sigh* Well, I've hit Bull's dry spell. I've cleared out the Hissing Wastes, flirted with him constantly, and still haven't gotten anything. Most unfortunate. And I don't want to kill a dragon until AFTER he's in my romance... Where can I get approval from Bull besides killing dragons and Venatori?
Oooh, a question I'm good at answering! Try the stable girl in the Hinterlands, Master Dennet's daughter. She gives out races, and for each one you'll get a "Iron Bull approves" when you win. Also, the wolf quest his wife gives out gives approval when completed too. Try to start the romance before killing a dragon, you get a hilarious extra line during the dragon cutscene when he's romanced.
