I have a question, but I avoided reading most of this thread because I'm trying not to read too many spoilers. So, sorry if it has been asked/answered.

 

I am still on my first playthrough with a female human mage, I've romanced Bull, completed his personal quests and I've comitted my Inquisitor to him. However, for the longest time I've had no other options with Bull than Let's talk about us > [Kiss him]. I've completed the Inner Circle quests and the only Story Quest remaining is the final one that says you can't really go back after this. I'm level 20, but I haven't cleared all the zones yet though, so that's the only thing left.

 

I somehow feel I got the quest order wrong though. Like I finished Tough Love after the Orlesian Ball scene. Anyway, Any insight is appreciated!

 

What was your last romance cutscene? If it was the one where you finally commit (the one where you give him the necklace) then you still have one more to go which you can get by picking a special dialogue option. There's no wrong order between storyline and romance, so that's no biggie.

Just heard a banter with Iron Bull and Sera, Sera suggests standing on his horns and shooting with her bow, the Bull replies "Oh, so we would be a mobile siege platform"

 

Also Blackwall and Bull: "Blackwall! Iron Bull! We should fight crime!" lol

Well the last thing was indeed Tough Love, where you commit to him. I do realize there is one scene left. It just seems the last scene was ages ago and I only have zone quests left and the End Quest. I guess I just have to continue with the last few locations and it will probably pop up (at first I thought I'd skip 2 zones, so it would be unspoiled for a second playthrough - I was high level from sticking around in other zones too long).

 

It's good to hear you can't really mess up the order with these quests, but I do think that if I had followed the order of unlocked zones in sequence, maybe the quests and story line would flow a little better. There was talk of there being a bug with the Iron Bull romance, so that got me worried ^^

[Edit]: Something else that struck me as odd, was that some of the romance options for the other companions popped up. Like I can ask Cullen and Vivienne if they are seeing someone.

So the flirts still pop up even after that last scene? It's normal for them to show up until that scene because it takes awhile to commit his romance, but I'm not sure if they still should after the necklace. I hope it's not a bug. :c

I found the best bit of banter from Bull was when he asks Blackwall most number of limbs he cut off with one swing, that exchange was hilarious.

Loved the Cole dialogue when he discusses the Inquisitor and Bull's relationship.

Inquisitor:  What two people do in the privacy of their own bedroom is perfectly fine.  (paraphrase, but close)

 

Cole:  Not just the bedroom!  ... and once on the Wartable!  (can't remember the other places he says Bull and Inquisitor get down, but it made me snicker)

I also love that Bull is a bit bashful about the entire thing.

Well, can't be sure about all of them, but it is implied he has relations with the tavern/servant girls when you speak to him in the skyhold bar, and there's some ambient dialogue about a sister in haven "thanking" him multiple times.

Perhaps, some things were a little off, but I decided to do the end quest and I thought it was great. Maybe some things will straighten out if I give it another playthrough.

I haven't been able to find a fanfiction home for Bull related things though, like a livejournal community or something like that. ;_; Does anyone know of one that I'm missing? I need more Iron Bull in my life!

There might not be one just yet. We'll have to give it some time since not everyone has ridden the bull yet.

So I wondered if you sexy Bullmancers had any advice or input. Which races have you romanced Bull with? Did any of them have any unique romance dialogue as a result of race? Which do you prefer?

I romanced him with a human mage, though I don't think I got any unique dialogue for it sadly. Well, I did get one unique comment for a mage which was amusing, but I won't spoil it. I do know qunari have a few unique lines with him, but I don't think any are romance related - can't be certain though since I haven't seen a full qunari romance playthrough with him yet, just bits and pieces. 

 

Sorry that wasn't too helpful haha. But hopefully some others can chime in as well. xD Thanks for posting all those glorious screenshots of him! They are great eyecandy.

I was a qunari warrior & I don't recall any unique dialogue at the moment just lots of me screaming into a pillow. It would be difficult to say what race I prefer. The idea of him towering over a human or elf is a huge turn on. Then you have the qunari with their muscular frames....imagine two qunari naked in bed with sweat glistening on there hard muscle while fighting for control....mmmmmmm. The only race that seems awkward is Bull with a dwarf. From the footage I've seen there isn't any special dialogue for them (and there totally should be), the kissing scene looks weird & the very last scene with him on the balcony looked comical with a dwarf, but that is just my opinion.

I went with elf in my first playthrough and that is going to be what I use for my writing as well. There were also no in game comments about race in any way from Bull, but the way he treats Solas and other mages in your group via banter makes me happy with this choice.

 

I think a lot of it is due to the fact that he was kind of a last minute not-race-gated romance, so I'm willing to read between the lines on how he would treat the inquisitor's race/class.

 

The upside is, if you are both warriors, you can work together to try and flip a guy!
