So I'm a very imaginative person when it comes to the subject of kinky things, and Bioware has been nice enough to give me Bull and it's doing all kinds of terrible things to my imagination. Specifically when it comes to how Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts played out and what I want to write about at the end.

I believe Bull is far better at his job than he ever lets on. Part of what makes him such a good spy is his ability to make people feel completely at ease around him, despite being a quinari. They disregard him because he is so open and simple. But he's not, or else he would not be the way he is with the Inquisitor. He fears madness above all because his mind is as great of a tool as his body's strength and he knows it. (When put in a party with Solas he plays mind-chess with him while they are fighting. Enough said!)

He hates the politics of the Game, but not because he doesn't understand it I believe he would be fully capable of playing it if he chose. (Meanwhile my version of Lavellan can barely keep up because he's a frickin' Dalish elf and he's never had any kind of exposure to this kind of thing before.)

Bioware did a very mean thing to me not giving his dance with the Inquisitor a cut scene. Now I'm totally going to use this and run with it and my first contribution to Bull/Lavellan fanfiction will be their dance, in which Bull totally knows how to dance because Ben-Hassrath, and he uses it to play the game for the benefit of the Inquisitor. I also totally imagine them dancing to this song because I love this song to begin with. >.>

I haven't even finished playing the game and this will eat me alive until I finish it. :x

Oh and of course, the very kinky things they do to work off the tension of the dance afterwards. That part too.

Oh yes, Bull is quite the smartypants, he just doesn't need to show it. He could have out-game'd most people in that palace. He can read people's intentions just from a quick glance. Sadly the lack of a dancing cutscene was probably due to animation difficulty. :c I would have loved to see it as well. One of my favorite parts of Bull's kinky behaviour is that it's (mostly) left up to the imagination, aside from what we hear of being tied up and using ribbon/string, so we can imagine it as hardcore or gentle as we please. x3 I like to think of it as somewhere in between sweet and sexy, a nice medium.

Yesssss. I'm so glad I'm not reading into it so hard, but I really feel like Bioware left Bull to our imaginations for that exact reason. He's comedic and fluffy as hell to make him easy for most people to romance him. But if you know anything about the lifestyle or the mentality behind it, there's an awesome amount of little subtleties, even in how Bull (and Cole, bless you Cole, cookies for Cole) explains how it works, that proves just how damn good he is.

I think the level of kink would center entirely around the Inquisitor and their background/personality, which makes it absolutely wonderful to write because it gives you so much creative liberty. The only thing that is entirely canon, is that they're doing it, and they're doing it in a healthy, sexy manner that leaves them both stronger individuals for it. So for my mage, that means intense kink with lots of calm cuddle time after all the adrenaline of the kink is gone. My rogue, a lot less wild adrenaline, so I'll have options to explore either way depending on what Inquisitor I pair him with for each fanfiction.

ALSO DAMN YOU BULL MY ROGUE IS FOR DORION STOP IT. >:C

MUST RESIST I NEED TO ROMANCE DORION SOMEDAY. ;w;

Bullmancers, I have a question. Possibly questions. I'm planning on romancing Bull with my male mage Adaar this playthrough and I want to maximize the romance-to-friend scene ratio. Now I know the romance only really starts after you do his personal quest. And I know you can only do his personal quest if his approval is high enough, how high is that exactly? So far I've only gotten his mission after saving the Wardens. And after killing a dragon and having the bro-drunken convo with him. So that's potentially two romancy convos I've missed yeah? I'm always going to help the mages and I'm always going to recruit them rather than conscript them, is it possible to still get his approval high enough with that in mind?

Assuming I can't which main convo should I sacrifice on the altar of approval? The one after the Grey Wardens (I'm not actually even sure there is one)? The one(s) at the Ball? The drunken dragon killing one?

Well, can't be sure about all of them, but it is implied he has relations with the tavern/servant girls when you speak to him in the skyhold bar, and there's some ambient dialogue about a sister in haven "thanking" him multiple times.

Ah, I see. Not really a fan of this to be honest.

Thank you for answering though. I appreciate it. :)

Tonight Bull & I are roleplaying. I'm the innocent but naughty farm boy while he is the big scary Ben-Hassrath interrogating me.

"I don't know what you're talking about! I know nothing! Even if you tie me up, whip me, pour hot candle wax on me I will NOT talk! I'm not scared of you, even if you choke me!"

The idea of him towering over a human or elf is a huge turn on. Then you have the qunari with their muscular frames....imagine two qunari naked in bed with sweat glistening on there hard muscle while fighting for control....mmmmmmm.

 I might be blushing right now.

(DO YOU WRITE SMUT)

*cough*kinkmeme*cough*

Bring brain bleach.

I only recently learned what a kink meme is. It taught me that I am more innocent than I thought. Also, for anyone who doesn't know what it is and is thinking of investigating: Do NOT look up terminology you don't know. There is a reason you don't know.

I romanced Bull with a male mage elf.

It was awesome~~! I honestly can't romance him with anything else, now. I just love how this huge Qunari can carry around this itty bitty elf, swing a huge axe and turn around and be oh so careful with him during Aftercare.

I don't even know what kinkmeme is & I'm too scared to look it up lol. As for me writing smut.....no I don't lol but sometimes I wish I would just write some form of fanfiction.

When it comes to siding with the mages, the romance just takes longer to start up, but it's still very startable. I did it on my first game, and yeah I missed the dragon convo in-romance but it's not a huge deal, you just get one extra line and it's more comedic than romantic anyway. So I would sacrifice that one because you get tooons of approval in that scene. :P

I figured you wouldn't be, but yeah. xD No problem.

Also guys... I'm really getting tired of seeing all this freaking out over the Bull/Dorian relationship and painting Bull in a bad light with it. I saw it happening in the Dorian thread and just started avoiding it altogether because of that, but now that thread... just ugh.

It's very easy to villianize something that you don't understand, and issues of dominance/submission is still something people see in very black and white terms without any understanding of the dynamics involved.

Bioware took a great chance with the direction they took Bull and I'm exceptionally glad they did. <3 I will not let misinformed or judgmental people ruin my enjoyment of him.

:(

I'm just not going back into that thread... because I said some stuff, and I'm sure people are gonna reply, then it would be an endless circle of argument... and I hate that crap. I just needed to get it off my chest and be done with it. Now I'm staying in here and pretending it doesn't exist.

omg. I love Gaider. But seriously... when did it become a bad thing that not every romance was a fluffy bundle of awws? He makes a good point. They have an adult relationship and it comes with adult problems. But they're both grown. Let them friggen' handle it themselves.

I also think it's highly offensive that they suggest that Bull comes onto Dorian the same way he comes onto the Inquisitor. He treats the Inquisitor the way he does because of the fact that he's the Inquisitor. Bull explains it completely clearly the first time you sleep with him! He's not all rawr and evil on the serving girl he beds, he tells the inquisitor openly that he just lets them bounce on top and tells them their ****** look great. >_>

Plus, Dorian did not have to slave away like we did to get Bull's romance options to pop up! Pffft!

I honestly don't believe that their relationship is abusive. If Dorian has spent his entire life hiding what he is and being ashamed of his choices. Maybe having someone be so laid back with what they are is what Dorian needs. Maybe having people treat them just like any other messed up couple is what Dorian needs to come to terms with himself. Maybe Bull is just a stepping stone for him to decide on exactly what he wants and go from there, maybe it's just a fling and won't ammount to anything more than confidence training.

We don't know. But god damnit villianizing Bull makes me mad! I'm sure what me and my irl partner do behind closed doors would scandalize most of the people in that thread to calling it abuse, both mental and physical, but it's not. It's empowering. People who don't understand it, either due to close mindedness or bad personal experiences of them or those around them, need to realize that they're view on it isn't the only view or necessarily the right view.

That said, some guys are just creeps and assholes. I know one in real life. I can comapre him to my partner and it's like night and day. But Bull is exceptionally good with the Inquisitor and that makes me happy and I refuse to feel bad about loving every minute of it. :D

I am just all the more motivated to turn my fanfiction into a multi part one so that I can polish up what I've already written and put it out as some positive Iron Bull! And that way too I can put what comes after under a bunch of heavy kink warnings and not scare away the fluffier Bull fans too! ^_^

To be honest i think some people see some things to dark or to bright, but with Iron Bull it is not that easy.

There are actually two interactive benters between Quizzy/Iron Bull and Cole, about relationship between him and quizzy.

Spoiler

When you hear the first comment you actually can think that he do something weird/harmful with Quizzy, but it doesn't seems to be true, there is someting more here, sex is not an easy topic, people have different preferences, some accept more and other do not go beyond they safe zone.

My point is that is hard to judge IB|Dorian relationship, because there are many variables here, but the most important thing is that they are both adults and they both agreed to do what they do and by the end they seem that there is more between two of them than just "friend sex".

P.S I would like to add more, but it is easier to me write short post due to my not so great english, sorry :)

I'm at work so I can't re-watch the videos that I had watched earlier. But when I had seen videos of Bull and Dorian talking to the Inquisitor about their relationship afterwards, it seemed like they were turning into something more than just **** buddies. (And I was jealous because Back off Dorian he's my man!)

Bull was pleased, Dorian was shy, but obviously interested.

Dorian wants to ride the Bull. Whether he becomes a bullrider for life is unknown at this time. But he certainly deserves the chance without being painted into being some victim by it.

Cole's banter on Inquisitor/Bull was actually some of my favorite, because he talks about how it isn't all about dominance and control but also service and giving what quizzy wants, making them happy. If anyone knows how Bull really feels since he doesn't often talk about feelings, it would be the mind-reading spirit companion. :P

I stopped using Varric and switched to Cole just because of how amazing his banters are. It really offers some insight into what both of them are thinking, and how amazing their relationship is.

The best part is, Bull offers all that intimacy and service even before he ends up falling in love along the way.

The "I love you too" was still enough to make me sit at the computer with a silly ridiculous smile on my face. <3
