Out of curiosity, has anyone pointed out the Seven Samurai reference made with The Iron Bull?

If not, apparently he, Krem, and five other warriors were hired by a poor village to defend them from bandits. After the bandits were defeated, the seven warriors were paid with rice.

So if an elf inquisitor was going to challenge Iron Bull to some kind of ...challenge, what would it be if they wanted to win?

Drinking challenge? Nope.

Wrestling? LOLnope.

Chess? BULL CAN PLAY MIND-CHESS WITH SOLAS WHAT CHANCE DO YOU HAVEEeeee?

My Inquisitor is trying to come up with something in a fic I'm writing, and while the conversation is hilarious to write, I'm actually just as stumped as the characters are. xD

"A...fade-rift closing contest?" Was the best they've been able to come up with so far. >.>

Hard to quantify! Does style get you extra points? If you exploded it into paste, does it count for more than just sticking it with a sword?

In my mind, these are questions Dorian would ask. xD

I was considering a flat out duel, but I don't even know how a knight-enchanter would duel someone without killing them. @_@

Hmm you have me stumped there. But I'd assume anything extra flashy got you extra points ;)

I might have to do something like that. Either that or just have Bull overhear this conversation and suggset that the Inquisitor just "earn" what he wants from him, instead of winning it in a contest.

...and then "earning" it via sexy means. >.>

I say killing Vints or something. There is no denying your combat prowess & if your quizzy is a tad on the morbid side or can not think of them as people I can see it being plausible.

Oh my god yes. A shirt wearing contest. ITS PERFECT.

Painting would also be amazing because I imagine Bull just drawing a big penis and being like TA~DA!

Although my elfquisitor would probably have a similiar sense of humor and draw the same damn thing, LOL.

...yessss. I love it!

I think at some point they might make a pact along the lines of "Okay, this one doesn't count!" and start cheating the rules or something. xD

Haha, my Inquisitors could probably beat Bull on that contest, but it would feel cruel after awhile.

It's a good question... he's good at most things. But, I bet my Inquisitor could beat him in a race... maybe? I mean Cole asks him if he wishes he were faster like a rogue or something in a banter. Or something artsy, since I'm guilty of self inserts and I love art. :P

Hi everyone.

Recently finished a fem qunari romance with Bull, so I had to pop in and say how much I adored their romance arc. (Hope saying that doesn't cause any issues or arguments). I just felt like it was a romance tailor-made for me. *swoon*

♥ Iron Bull gets nothing but love in this thread.

Target practice is an interesting idea. How invested are the dalish in archery? Would a mage still know how to use a bow and arrow to hunt? You'd imagine they wouldn't be able to use magic to bring home dead animals because it'd be ..roasted..or..frozen, or burnt in some way shape or form. xD So I wonder if they'd still know basic archery?

On the other hand, would Bull have basic archery training through Ben-Hassrath? You'd think that at some point they would have trained their agents on how to take down someone from range.

Hmmmm. >.>

Mage Inquisitor could cheat and catch Bull's bow on fire just before he fired his shot.

>_>...

Could also be throwing axes/daggers.

Or darts. That's a very tavern-ish activity, isn't it?

I know those feels. I still haven't even beat the game yet. (Probably because I randomly started over again 60 hours in because I didn't like the way my first elf looked. xD)

Jealous! I started the game really late and I work full time so I basically devote my evenings to DA:I now. xD The farthest I've gotten is >LETS GO INTO THE ARBOR WILDS, and then I rerolled.

Someday, I will finish the game. But I also have this problem where I'll spend a night or two writing instead of playing. I will never finishhhh.

I need to finish soon though because spoilers are hard to avoid and I want to preserve all the OH **** WHAT moments. xD

I counted down the bloody minutes until the release.

I've played every day (minus a few here and there) since November 17th.

The abor wilds is the best part of the game you silly beast! (Okay no, Halamshiral is, but still!)
