So I was playing around with the flycam and took some screenshots. When I was going through them, I found this:

I giggled like a lunatic until my husband asked me what was wrong. It's... probably not as funny as I think it is.  Still, you guys might enjoy it. ;)

Anyone know if there's extra dialogue/banter if you sleep with Bull or Dorian, break it off and go with the other one?

Do Sera and Iron Bull like each other in the game? I never had them in my party together, so I never heard any banter or anything.

I'm assuming they do, because Iron Bull practically likes anyone, even Tevinters.*Dorian ;)*

Yep, they do. Their banter is hilarious and very bro-sis one.

She'll enjoy that.

Roleplaying question for all you guys and gals.

My new playthrough is a female human mage. I'm playing her as being an adventurous soul who is finally free of the circle and loves the enormity of the world around her. As such, I feel like she would be attracted to non-humans as they are foreign concepts to her that she has never experienced before and the intrigue would be alluring to her. This brings me to believe she would be attracted to Bull or Sera.

I've heard that you can decide to keep things on a "friends with benefits" term with Bull. My question: is this an irreversible decision (i.e. she wouldn't be able to make him the actual love interest later on) or can we decide to make it serious later? I ask because I imagine her fooling around with both Bull and Sera (their personalities feel the most compatible with her) throughout the course of the game, experimenting and discovering new things.

I don't know if you could progress both relationships very far, or even have two of them going at one time. Not something I've actually tested at all. But at some point in Bull's relationship, it definitely changes from friends-with-benefits. The only way to prevent it from doing such, would be to simply not do any further romance related quests, or break it off with him.

I know there is dialogue between Sera & Bull if you previously had a relationship with Bull but left him for Sera. There is no bad blood at all but I figured I would share that tidbit of info.

Yeah, a comment about Bull "loosening the lid" for Sera. Ahahah. ♥

On my latest playthrough I just allied with the templars. I got a big approval bonus from Bull for it, but ...gghhhh. I don't feel like I did the right thing. I prefer mages. ;w;

The upside is walking into the 293847382947978th venatori fire mine is making me want to take a break to work on my next fanfiction. >.>

I'd feel the same way if I sided with the mages. In my canon it feels wrong but I'll at least conscripted the templars in a future playthrough (mainly for my Harden Divine Leliana run) but that is the closest pro mage thing I'm willing to do. It'll suck taking that disapproval from the big guy but Its not like he approved of everything I did. I flat out refused to drink from the well before I knew of the consquences & by andraste's t**s I will NOT be doing it in any future runs. Morrigan I love you to death but you wanted it & dammit one of my damn characters will STAY WITH THEIR LI!!!!!

Since I'm always playing a mage I decided to try to be pro-templar with my first non-mage character in forever. xD The problem I have with the templars is just how self-righteous and pro-chantry they are.

Stupid chantry. *grumble grumble*

I think I'm drinking from the well on this playthrough, since this elf is a little more pro-dalish than my canon Lavellan is, but yeah, I'd say my canon for the well is also HELL NO. Morrigan can do whatever she damn well wishes with that!

So a thought came to me, as I was working on a fanfiction.

How many bricks would the qunari crap if rifts started opening up in Par Vollen? Especially if they refused to ally with the Inquisitor. How much would they regret alienating Iron Bull then?

Some qunari based DLC would be really amazing, but I don't think that my mage Lavellan or Tal-Vashoth Iron Bull would have a very good time of it. Something along the lines of, "I don't think this trip is going to end without qamek being involved at some point."

Thread needs more Iron Bull screenshots!

^DanaDuchy and others have found files in the game that suggest that there will be a Qunari centric DLC. Will link you later when I'm not on my phone.

Amg, that would be amazing.

A playthrough where you side with the qunari, and are...not a mage so you could realistically actually follow the Qun, or at the very least, not be a giant liability, would be excellent for a qunari DLC.

It makes me wonder about a Bullmance in the long term as well. If you saved the chargers, it's realistic to expect that Bull and the Inquisitor could be BFF's forever. But how does that work if Bull is still under the Qun? Somehow, it doesn't seem like a possibility, because eventually Bull would have to return to Par Vollen, and he isn't near as emotionally attached.

I don't forsee anything good coming out of that for Iron Bull & my qunari Inquisitor. The only good thing is that my qunari will finally get some new looking armor (or at least something that is qunari only). Other than that I can see some quest that a Tal-Vashoth Bull would not be able to go on. Another thing is how are they going to dumb down being a mage (especially a qunari mage)? It would suck if they pull a DA2 where everyone is obvious to it.

I have no idea how Bioware would do it to be honest. Qunari mages become saarebas, but do they try to inflict that on other mages that have been fully trained outside of their society? The biggest thing about saarabes is that they are never actually trained or anything like that. Does the Qun have any distinction? Do any mages that come under it become saarebas? I've never seen any that weren't actual qunari. Maybe they're all just executed?

If the threat was great enough, the qunari would have to get the Inquisitor's help. He's literally the only one that can close the rifts, they wouldn't really have much of a choice, right?

I dreamed about this this morning (this is how I come up with all of my fic stuff, dreaming on it haha.) Spoilers for what I came up with.

It's something I'd love to write, but I don't know enough about qunari society to ever dare to write anything about it. :s

I doubt they would try to turn the inquisitor into a saarebas but I was referring to a strong dislike towards mages. Sadly there isn't alot of info on the qun. Bull was our first info dump on the topic. I recall hearing that David Gaider was writing a DA book focused on the Qun but shelved it.

Yeah, that was more just curiosity on how they would treat outside mages. Just because how they dealt with Hawke was, as you said, completely ignoring the fact that he was a mage at all.

We need more infodumps about the Qun, definitely. If they all come in Iron Bull-esque form, I would be okay with that too. ♥

I think the only thing that would stay the Qunari's hand is the fact that we are a major power down South. They'd probably grumble and complain about it, but they couldn't do anything to us. I would really like to see some reactivity to mage players though in the future.
