I love Dorian's character, his banter with pretty much everyone and all of his snark and wit-exchanges are awesome. As a romance, Eeeeh? I'm still only halfway through so I have yet to experience all the awesomeness, but I really am a Bullrider at heart I think. He's nice in that he's...a traditional sweetheart who has all kinds of bluster and sarcasm to hide the fact that he's sweet and snuggly in his center. It's adorable and sweet and all those fuzzy words.
It doesn't inspire me to write porn or squee to my friends about how much my husband should totally grow a mustashe. (My husband is quite annoyed with the fact that I want him to now grow horns and has problems with the idea that I, a grown man, want an Iron Bull body pillow case.) But so far it's been worth it for the quips and sarcasm exchanged back and forth. :3

STOP FOLLOWING YOUR RULES BULL. ;_; Also I really wish your character could break up with him another way, because using the safe word like that is a totally dick move. Something like "Bull I'm really sorry but I need to go make lovey-dovey eyes at Dorian for a little while so I can satisfy the part of me that wants to try classy tevinter wine." And then Bull could say something like "HEY ME TOO LETS GO TOGETHER!" And we'd be like YEAH! And march up stairs to make eyes at Dorian together.

I feel like a Dorian romance might be kinda reminiscent of Alistair. The fluffy goofiness and humor especially. Then again I don't think he's as naive as Alistair was, so there's probably some differences there as well. Since DAO times I've found my preferences have changed from the traditional, innocent type of romances more to the more adventurous, adult themed ones. XD

Aw yeah, that's Bull though. In his heart he was probably a bit disappointed even though at that point a romance between them hasn't even really started. I'm planning to do the same thing in my next file but I'm going to Sera, so at least it's good to know I won't feel too overly guilty about it.

It was a cute scene for sure. But he was so...beat around the bush! It's like he doesn't want to come out and say he wants to be with you, and so you want to knock him up side the head and be like ADMIT YOU LOVE ME YOU YOU FOOL. xD

I have to make a femqunari just to avoid Cullen and then I gave her to Blackwall because I can't romance Bull with a Vasoth. It feels awkward. I want to yell at him more about his views on them.
It's all my guys that end up with Bull. I managed to make one for Dorian. Finished most of his romance got turned off reloaded a 5 hour save and romanced Josie (totally worth it too. They're cute together and him and Leli being assassins makes me giggle.)

3/4 of my PT's have been Vashoth ladies...It's the most interesting, for me. First, he can't wait to correct you and tell you that you are NOT Qunari, you're Tal-Vashoth. (Yeah, not really, Bull) Then, if you save the Chargers and say that he's Tal-Vashoth like you, suddenly, you're not *really* Tal-Vashoth after all.

I'd love to play as a qunari , just because Bull is such a...conflict when it comes to the Qun. You can tell he really has a lot of faith in it, he knows it answers a lot of questions that a lot of people have. And at the same time...he is so completely fucked when it comes to other parts. ♥
I think getting my Dorian romance done is going to be a miracle, and then I'll just have to be content with that as I embrace the fact that Iron Bull is for me and the other romances are all just going to be things I hear about in legend and myth andyoutube.
Quick question about Bull/Dorian:
Do they still get together if Bull stays with the Qun (as in you sacrifice the Chargers)?
I have no idea how Bioware would do it to be honest. Qunari mages become saarebas, but do they try to inflict that on other mages that have been fully trained outside of their society? The biggest thing about saarabes is that they are never actually trained or anything like that. Does the Qun have any distinction? Do any mages that come under it become saarebas? I've never seen any that weren't actual qunari. Maybe they're all just executed?
According to World of Thedas, mages not of the Qun are brain-bleached with Qamek.
