[Hellion Rex]

My Gale Trevelyan, the first Inquisitor and the one I romanced Bull with, was written by me to be a pro-Circle Senior Enchanter of Ostwick's Circle and that Circle's strongest healer. And then he learned the arts of the Knight Enchanter, along with the ability of Resurgence, which seriously boosted his normal healing magic.

I probably should give my character more varied descriptions than Arrogant human noble dude/emo human noble dude.

Well my elf at least has a decent background but she was supposed to romance Solas (supposed to being the key word. She ran off with Cullen >_> I made her a little too anti-dalish in hindsight.)

I kinda always headcanon that in battle, Gale would go low with the Spirit Blade to cut the opponent at the knees, whereas Bull would come in high with the massive overhead hit.

I imagine when they are fighting, Lavellan and Iron Bull have like, the best motion figured out to sync up together haha. Lavellan puts down his fire spells before they actually reach the enemy, just so that seconds before the two of them burst through their front lines....EVERYONE IS SUDDENLY ON FIRE. Chaos and panic ensues.

 

Dorian and Cole just play clean up, picking off the people that try and run away. ♥

 

I have very happily gotten my sweetfx just right in game now, so I think it's a perfectly good reason to restart my mage Lavellan canon playthrough. I even have the perfect world-state figured out for it now and everything! ♥ (I had missed things before, like getting my Hawke sarcastic personality etc.)

 

The good news is..muh screenshots will be sexier now. I can't wait to start getting them of Iron Bull. >:3 Someday I have to figure out how to use cinematic tools better too, for the sole purpose of IB screenshots.

So, I'm trying to write some Bull stuff where he's with my Gale. Question, is it out of character for him to be kinda quiet and listening when he's comforting Gale? Gale's working through some mental issues (I wrote him as having depression), so I kinda imagined Bull as being this rock upon which Gale could center himself.

I basically figured out an elf that I liked the looks of, memorized all his sliders, and now I just cookie-cutter the same damn character each time I reroll. xD I've played around with the CC lots, and I've basically just got a formula that works and I'm happy enough with that. xD Sometimes I try and really shake things up a bit and like, make him blonde or something, and then after about 10 minutes I'm like NOPE, DOESNT SEEM RIGHT. And delete and remake. xD

The way I see it, Iron Bull is a service dom. He gives the Quizzie what he needs, so if what Gale needs is someone to quietly listen and be there when he falls apart, that's what Bull would provide.

 

Bull would probably be psychoanalyzing whatever he said, checking it all against the IronBullcyclopedia that he keeps in his head, storing everything away and that type of thing as he listened, figuring out what the problems were and how to fix them all at once. In game, when he does come to a conclusion, he usually shares it as complete fact, in a rather blunt, matter-of-fact sort of way. A lot of the Qun is still in him, "This is how it is, questioning it or denying it is foolish, just get stronger from it" etc. But because of how tender he is when he's with the Inquisitor privately, he would probably curb that a little more than he does with the rest of the Inner Circle.

 

This is how I see it. I'm not Patrick Weekes so I'm probably quite off the mark, and I often worry about how in character I keep my own Iron Bull. (I tend to make him talk too much, but my Lavellan also talks way too much so maybe Bull just has to keep up or get drowned out? xD) So take whatever I say with a big dose of salt.

This reminds me of the very interesting day dream I had at work earlier. Varric was blindfolded and had his limbs tied to a bed post while Garrett Hawke took complete advantage of him. I don't know why I was thinking about that but I wasn't complaining.
