Oh man I'm doing some of Bull's rejections for science and the "I'm not ready for this." rejection has the PC go all "you're right. Flirting is fun but it probably wouldn't work out." and Bull's agrees "Yeah we're better off killing things." and then goes all "For what it's worth though unf you'd be walking funny the next day. Nice talking with you have a good day" XD

Also I just used the Katoh rejection for the second love scene (it was the first rejection not the second). "Whatever happened before this isn't what I want." "understood boss." Like? Isn't that exactly what people were complaining about not being able to say? But you can? I mean????

 

I don't understand. You can LITERALLY SAY HE'S WRONG AND HE ACCEPTS IT.

 

I'm not sure why I tried to comprehend it.

(Oddly enough he's more accepting of the Katoh if he's in the bar. Maybe he's a bit buzzed?)

 

Also the fact that you can constantly end the romance with Katoh hurts me.

Hey! There's lots of people who like bigger subs, because you get a whole lot more satisfaction out of subduing someone who's an actual challenge, compared to subduing...an elf. >_> *unimpressive flex*

 

I'm sure Iron Bull is just as happy with a qunari inquisitor as he is with an elf one! :3 So you just need to find an IRL Iron Bull!

I'm sorry, but the idea of Dorian being some kind of fragile flower is hilarious to me. I've never actually heard the dialogue in my own game (because Bull is mine), but I saw on YouTube where Bull said something about Dorian accidentally setting the curtains or something on fire because he got too excited. Bull's a big guy, but come on. Dorian is a mage. A Tevinter mage. Remember the dreadnought? A handful of mages took out one of the most powerful ships in Thedas. Nothing will convince me that Dorian is a victim here, or that Bull is an abuser.

 

I honestly have to wonder if we're even playing the same game as some of these people, because that assumption is so far out of character for either one of them I don't know where it's coming from.

He is certainly not a wilting violet. He was supposedly one of the strongest mages for his age back in Tevinter, and such a claim would be backed up by some serious arcane might. I think he'd give quite a few well known mages a run for their money. And on top of that, he's got a trump card in Necromancy as well.

I'm just confused at how people think Dorian's intimidated by Bull. Their dialogue is half Dorian starting ****. I don't know about you but I don't antagonize people I'm scared of. While I'm fully aware that you can be stronger than your abuser there's absolutely nothing about Dorian and Bull that leads me to believe Dorian's cowed by or intimidated by Bull. So *shrug*

That they can't say it and continue the relationship is the problem, from what I've gathered. You can't dictate the relationship on your own terms.

Seriously my Hawke would not treat Fenris like he's some child who can't defend himself. That made me so mad.

 

At least my rivalrymancer Anders (who sided with the templars so so much for the fanwank that Anders killed himself in that ending) had a decent excuse not wanting Anders near Corypheus so he could control him. That actually made sense. Fenris though no. That's makes no sense.

Oh, Hawke is still alive in my games, too. Imposter she may be, but I still can't bring myself to leave her in the Fade. I love Fenris too much for that.

 

My current game though, it's going to be tough. I deliberately made it so the choice is between her and Alistair.

And then once they've gotten all that out of the way, they'll be finding some flat surfaces to pin each other against next. :3 And the Grey Wardens will be like, Maybe we should just...go...and come back later...like ...next spring...
