I KNEW I DIDN'T IMAGINE IT.
It has to be spirit cole though. I'll put the screenshots up in a sec.
Glad you found it. ![]()

Then it goes to the Bull how can you work with a demon part.
Does music help?
I tend to play a lot of music when I write.
This is less getting into the mood to write and stuff, and more...trying to get a firm grasp on how Bull's mind works. And figuring out exactly what circumstances I need to put them in to get it to end with the result I want, and still have it be in character. ... I need to brainstorm with someone who has a firmer grasp on qunari psychology than I do. xD

This is..pretty awesome. ♥ In this case, it does make sense for Gatt to get a little antsy about Cole being there. In my playthrough, Gatt was just a jerk for no reason, and Bull shuts him down in that case, instead of Cole. So that's a pretty neat exchange!

Hey least you have a clue. I'm floundering out in the sea with nary a lifeboat in sight XD
To be fair Cole is a spirit and they can mindread. Most people are wary at Cole at first so I got Gatt's reaction.
I guess I give him a fair amount of leeway because like I said he reminds me of my self in some ways.
That said the Qunari should've sent someone more diplomatic yes.

What? Someone from the Qun being intolerant of people who aren't part of the Qun? I don't believe it. ![]()
My grasp on Iron Bull's character when writing him is flimsy at best! I bluff my way through it, but when it's time to show my cards to break down his thought process for the reader, it's pretty clear I've been bluffing. xD
I don't think the Qun really...have anyone more diplomatic. They are the Qun, they don't negotiate, they don't have ambassadors. The best they can do to foster good will amongst the people of Thedas, is to stay where they are and leave everyone else alone.
Gatt definitely has his reasons to be angry. To him, the Qun is what saved him from an absolutely terrible life. It's what gave him a purpose beyond mindless vengeance, it has helped him. There's just. .. you know. All that other Qun stuff that has probably done a pretty good amount of damage as well, maybe not on him, but definitely on others the Qun has encountered.
It's just..a thing. Even before I knew what was going on, since I never played with spoilerific stuff, when Iron Bull was hesitant and said something along the lines of "I just...am used to them being over there." And he seemed ...concerned with them being ..not. And it was like, ho boy. This isn't going to end well.

I'd say Tallis would've been fairly diplomatic if she had toned down the patronizing.
Yep. He went from bad to somewhat better but still crappy. He even admits it's not best for people not raised in it. (Calls it little better than slavery). So he isn't some hard pro qun liner. For him it was an improvement however (which really just states just how crappy his life was before that the qun was an improvement).
But yeah I saw Bull breaking away he was too Bull to stay in the Qun without snapping or them breaking him ![]()
Thankfully we got him away from that ![]()

Yup. We did the right thing! ♥
We kept someone who believes in all the good parts of the Qun, like fairness and purpose, sacrifice and honor, and cut him away from the poison part that would end up destroying what makes him special sooner or later.
Plus we get to stick it to the Qun, by taking away one of their best tools. Take that!

Yep
Plus having an ex qunari spy as a loud bawdy dude in the tavern will certainly be helpful when dealing with future threats to the Inquisition.
That's always good. So long and thanks for all the gear Qun! *waves happily*
The Qun isn't that bad. At least for those who love it.
People that truly believe it's the right path can lead a satisfying life. And for what it's worth, they enjoy near perfect order and a very operational society.
It does suck for mages, though. And those that aren't sure if they like that life, in which case it's best to leave. With the Qun, you're either 100% in or 100% out.
That would be fine, if leaving were an option. That's my problem with the Qun: you try to get away from it, and they hunt you down and either brain wash you back into it, or completely take away your will. Unless they just kill you, of course.

Damn I wish I had gotten that in my (only) Spirit Cole run I took him with me on that and everything but instead got something about him talking about someone's final moments of death and Gatt asking Bull how he can work with a demon.

Well that's creepy ![]()
I think I should play with spirit Cole more often.

I for one, welcome our new nipple overlords. ![]()
Oh man I can see Zev flirting outrageously with Bull with him responding in kind.
I think my warden and quizzy would just watch with popcorn to see who finally outdoes the other.
Somehow I think that both my Surana and my Lavellan would be totally okay with watching the two of them do sexy things to each other. Maybe even place bets. >.>
Afterwards, Zevran would have the utmost of respect for Lavellan, and tease the warden about needing to ride the bull, Surana would be like "Nope! Not happening! Lavellan can have that all for his own!"
And Bull would just be wondering what he did to attract so many elves. xD My playthroughs have too many damn elves and I don't hate myself for it at all.
Bull will just have to live with it. ![]()
The elves are just too skinny
Where's my sexy muscular Legolas, dammit?!?!
Wrong series lol

Those shoulders man.
And I'm not sure how femelf gets such a nice booty when her arms are twigs. Does all the fat just run to her t&a or something?
