Lack of information will do that. Deteriorates the brain.

Whoops, should have been such.. lol. ![]()
You know you like it.
I like anything that gets this thread more posts.
We were gaining on Cassandra for a while but she's pulling away from us again.
And Dramatic Hands Mustache Guy is closing in on us.
How can DHMG be gaining, he doesn't even have a name.

No but look at when Fenris was just a bit of floating concept art and the forum went nuts? and he got given the name of MEG: Mystery Elf Guy (yes I went nuts with them >.>)
These forums move in strange and mysterious ways ![]()
I imagine his lack of a name is a good bit of the reason DHMG is gaining as several posts in his thread seem to be people just pining for a name for him, or otherwise arguing about whether or not he's Dorian or an heretofore unknown Orlesian.
With Iron Bull we're kind of in this Limbo where we know too much about him to speculate as freely as DHMG but not enough to where we can really dig into the meat of the character.
True. NEED INFO....
I noticed that Sten and Iron Bull's sword in these pictures are basically the same design;

Do you think Iron Bull still considers his weapon to be a part of him, the way Sten did in DA:O? Do you think that's why he still has it, despite apparently leaving the Qunari as a philosophy?
Edit - Noticed it's also the old Arishok's sword. http://oi59.tinypic.com/16knwnm.jpg

Wow, interesting. Either it is some kind of a hint, or qunari use the same design for all swords
Probably the latter. Hm, Iron Bull's sword, though?
Well, it is said his past will catch up on him. So maybe he is still kind of a qunari deep at heart
pretty sure its the design, otherwise we are going to have to go through the da2 varric issue where we cant change weapons... even though varric is supposed to be able to dual wield this time around

There were a couple swords with that design in DA 2 that you could get from the qunari, in fact.

As I said, it seems like a classic desgin for a qunari sword.
It is more interesting to me that a tal-vashoth actually kept it. If his band is succesful, then wouldn't he be able to get a better sword rather than a casual model?
Maybe he hasn't found a blacksmith that can make a new sword of his liking. And I doubt he stumbles across many swords big enough to suit him.
Seriously? Have you seen swords in DA2? Some are bigger than the characters
It would be very interesting to find out that the Iron Bull still holds on to his sword and considers it a part of him, despite putting on this facade that he hates the Qunari (assuming from early info) As for the similarity in design to the Arishok and "Aristen" it may just be a popular design choice in the qunari military similar to the M4 in the US military
ya know, i kind of wondered this in da2... why did they send one guy back to get the swords for the qunari in act 3? When Sten says in Origins that any qunari who loses is blade is a deserter?

They usually send them to retrieve the weapons of fallen qunari, not deserters i believe.
that was my thought too, but i really cant see them wasting their time on that... but then again since when have the qunari been predictable
