[Sui Causa]

There's Iron Bull fans on Tumblr that I like and want to be friends with, but I don't know how to go about approaching someone on Tumblr and being like "OH MY GOD I LOVE IRON BULL TOO LETS TALK ABOUT HOW AMAZING HE IS PLZ."

Also I finally changed my username because random patterns of letters and numbers isn't as great of a username as one might think! >_>

 

Edit: AHAHAHAHA. I have ...storyboarded? out the last bit of this chapter that I was stuck on. You have no idea how amazing it feels to finally have everything completely figured out. Now I just need to fully write it and I'm done. Thatofcourseisgoingtotakesometime. But I think my reward will be playing some DAI tonight before bed!

 

The thing that unlocked it all was, Iron Bull explaining the difference between Obedience and Submission to a Lavellan who has no choice but to listen with all of his attention. ♥ Spoiler for a snippet from my storyboard.

Submission is more than following orders. It's not about rules or a system. It's about the person giving those orders. You submit not to what, but to whom. When you're submitting, you're devoting your entire f*cking being to someone. You'd do anything for that person because one day you woke up and realized you love them so f*cking much.

Once upon a time when I was deciding what my name would be for writing fanfiction, I chose Sui Causa. I think it was something like, Causa Sui means "cause of itself" so I flipped it and ran with it? ...Yeah! *flex* I've been writing under it long enough now that it's too late to go back?

Now I just realized, what would count ad a lick? Obviously if it leaves the surface area it counts as one but what if it doesn't? Would it count as one if the tongue reaches the spot it start it at? Hmmmmm I'll ask some random people that come in the restaurant at work.

So with 50 shades of grey reviews popping up in my newsfeeds, complaining about how awful it is, I can't help but feel some kind of satisfaction from the fact that it's apparently awful!

 

Now we just need a movie about Iron Bull and Inquisitor/Dorian to rise up in it's place as a glorious champion for SSC BDSM, and my day will be totally made! /o/

I bite at anyone who suggests it, and now even my co-worker that enjoyed the series backpedals to say "nono, it's terrible BDSM, I just liked it for the plot!" I wont even begin to touch the argument that "He's damaged, and she's the only one who can heal his dark heart!" is the worst trope romance novels have ever produced. As long as no one tries to say it's BDSM around me, I let it slide. >_>
