Quick question for the bull riders. I've already romanced THE Iron Bull with an elf and a Qunari, but the race didn't have a huge impact thus far. Do either human or Dwarf get any interesting dialogue from a romanced Iron Bull?
(for example Dorian is really into Qunari inquisitors)

Because I'm very concerned that a significant portion of players don't much care about any of the fundamentals that make a story meaningful or powerful as long as they get a romance with quirky and sugary cutscenes, and seeing multiple people post variations of "The Bull is mine tonight" with clearly much more enthusiasm than other topics being discussed seems to cement that pretty firmly.
Doesn't help that half the forum is character threads such as this one.

It's a joke...considering that the romances make up very little of the actual game and story, I think there's more to the reasons people play than that. I'm not sure what other topics we're supposed to be enthused about, but that's an awful big jump to come to the conclusion that we don't care about 'the fundamentals that make a story meaningful'.

Haven't played a dwarf, but there's nothing extra for human, if I recall. But Bull has worked his way through half the kitchen staff, at least one chantry sister, and mentions an elf in a village somewhere by the time you can romance him, so I don't think race is a big deal to the guy.

No we pretty much argue about who The Iron Bull belongs to (He is mine btw), BDSM, his size, the fact that Zerioc is the only on that truly pleases him (true fact even Rex said so) & the occasional topic with depth (and random bad day rants lol). That sums or thread up more or less. If we were serious all the time this thread would be sooooooo boring & no one wants boring.

Maybe if you're so concerned about there not being "meaningful" discussions, you should start one, instead of being condescending with your concern trolling. I pop into this thread from time to time and I've seen lots of silliness and lots of good convos, and that's the best mix you can have imo.

We've had some pretty great discussions about srs things in this thread, and made woobly eyes at Iron Bull's physique on many occasions as well. Seems like a good thread to me! Sounds like you should replace the concern you have so firmly lodged in your backside with certain parts of Iron Bull's body, and you'll have a much better time browsing the forums. Or you know, don't read things you don't like, and don't make frowny faces because people are enjoying themselves. "Stop liking things I don't like!" is so 4th grade, bro.

You have clearly never set foot in a thread about fetch quests, "dumbing down," Corypheus' quality as a villain, lore contradictions, or pretty much the entire feedback and suggestions subforum.

His response was quite tame for him and I'm wondering if it's because him and Alcina are together...
Has anyone heard it with a non-romanced quizzy?

I'm curious: has anyone heard the banter with Cole and IB about a woman in a village wanting him to take her clothes off and thinking he was big?

I don't believe it changes if he's romanced or not. I think however that it's one of the first banters he triggers with Cole, so maybe at that point he's just getting warmed up?

I can see where it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but depraved? Please. Also, people seem to forget that getting that far is entirely up to the player. No other romance requires you to give consent three different times to initiate it. Hell, Solas just invites himself into your dreams, but we're calling the use of a safe word depraved? Pfft.
And I love Solas to little pieces, so no offense to any Solas fans.

The only reasonable response to people like that is "gr8 b8 m8 i r8 8/8" or something along those lines. x3

Yeah, I know. On a better day, I'd like to think I wouldn't have dignified something like that with a response at all. I think it was the 'depraved' that got me. People do absolutely horrible things to each other on a daily basis and two consenting adults discussing the use of a safe word is depraved...
Edit: and as far as Qunari go, that is probably one of the tamest things I've seen. Torturing someone into accepting your way of life is a-okay, 'cause if that fails, we can always strip all personality from them and put 'em to work, but don't dare get a little kinky in a consensual relationship

Meh even if my Quizzy wants to be tied up and spanked I fail to see how that's anyone else's concern. It's easy to avoid, and you get several chances to back out if you misstep I just can't have any sympathy after that.
As for Bull...I do wish there was another scene after Cory where you can tease him about being the Inquisition's private merc company. ![]()

The IQ gets spanked in a scene...O_O I've never romanced Bull past the amulet scene so I don't know what comes after that...but I am intrigued and a little terrified at the same time. A good terrified though.
