Nah, he's got his own rabid following ![]()
About him acting like you were friends when he didn't join the Inquisition... that could have been a bug. I know there are a couple where the approval ratings didn't seem to translate correctly. Though, if he never joined than you're probably just neutral to him so there wouldn't be any reason for him to outright dislike you. Curious if there was any difference in the dialogue though.

OMG on the note of Qun bull. I was browsing tumblr and this quote by Fenris IS SO FITTING.
Spoiler*cries forever*
Yeah, I saw this too. The Qun is basically slavery, so it makes sense, right? It breaks it's members to the point where there's absolutely nothing left. They will never have precious cow husband!
I also love Dorian, maybe not quiiiiite as much as Iron Bull, but he's definitely my second favorite in Inquisition. He deserves to be happy however he gets it. I am still mostly terrified of Dorian's fandom however, seeing as they seem to cross over freely with the people who will talk crap about Iron Bull. At least those people have been forcibly shut up thanks to Trespasser, the Dev's really took care of the adoribull fandom there, so sweet. ♥
Either way, they are both precious whether they are together or with their Inquisitors. (Or both. Definitely prefer both.) Out of all my hopes and dreams for DA4, the biggest is to know for sure that they're both alive and happy.

I have so many feels about Bull after Trespasser.
Spoiler
HE IS LIKE AN ONION

Reminds me of the comments folks made about Bull and Solas's chess game:

I can't speak for anybody else but I had to take a lil DA fandom break because there was sooo much drama llama. It's good to be back, though.

I've never played his romance, but I have a fierce love and appreciation for the character now.

Question: what are the party distributions of people who use Iron Bull a lot? I virtually never use him; not because I dislike him, but because I have no place for a DPS warrior in my party. Maybe if I played a rogue, it'd be different.

On my hard difficulty playthrough I run a party with no tank, but with everyone who manages to survive on their own, and do tons of damage.
Inquisitor: Knight Enchanter tanky/damage build.
Iron Bull: DPS/tanky build. (The Vanguard tree has some AMAZING survivability and even DPS abilities such as Livid
)
Sera: Full DPS, but uses the stealthy rouge tree to gain threat reduction, and well...stealth.
Dorian: Support/DPS mage, who manages to stay safe in fights due to the threat reduction abilities in the support tree.

I just turn him into a S&S tank. Or I run with Cass, Vivienne and Dorian/Solas with my PC as a rogue.
This is on nightmare.

I almost always play a dual dagger rogue. Between my DPS and Bull's we pretty much annihilate everything. I got through the Descent, for example, without a scratch except for the final boss, who was rather cheap TBH.
Until I can get Bull to hold his own and basically function as both a tank and a DPS, Cassandra or Blackwall are a must. As is Barrier support from Dorian or Vivienne.
I find that crafting is essential for Bull to be effective. Give him lots of melee defense. I tend not to use Fade Touched Silverite to generate crazy guard because to me that is a bit cheap. I go deep into the Vanguard tree, but keep him a Two-Hander. The new ability that replaced Unbowed - Livid - is great for Bull. It boosts his damage and defense, and gives him guard with the upgrade without gaining aggro.
Eventually, I can get to the point where I don't need a tank and Bull basically becomes a DPS tank. (on normal difficulty. I have no time for higher difficulties ATM). The trick is setting Bull's behavior to keep him from drinking potions until he's just about to fall. Let him take damage but also build guard, so that he has almost no health left, but is still untouchable to maximize his Reaver abilities.

Livid is, like, the dream ability for Two-Hander builds which aim to get up close and personal, do damage and still survive! It's absolutely amazing.

Now Vivienne, I don't use because I hate her.

This might be worthwhile if I ever play that DW dwarf rogue I've considered, but... playing a dwarf's always made me feel slightly ill, for spatial reasons.

Yeah but you always play mages though right? So just stick with Dorian/Solas (i don't tend to have more than 2 mages in a group cause I HAVE to have a rogue and a warrior).

WOAH. I just figured out you can make Erastunus tranquil (or however his name is spelled) to get the information and he agrees to it since the pain will stop.
That's so sad ![]()

Yep and he's apparently happen as a tranquil (as much as a tranquil can be happy) too according to Leliana.

How about this setup for Nightmare guys?
- Quizzy Dwarf Bow Rogue (I´ve been always curious)
- Bull Dps 2handed
- Dorian. (Cause I admit I am interested in spirit dmg skills. And If I get Knight enchanter again from Viv..It would be very easy probably)
- Blackwall as tank...maybe.
Oh and another thing. In my last pt Viv was selected again as a Divine, Anyone could tell me the requeriments to make Divine Cassandra or Leliana? I am also curious to see the differences in Exalted Council later on.

To get Divine Cass, I'm pretty sure that you ought to be friends with her, and just talk to her a lot. When it gets close to the end, she'll bring it up and you offer her your support.
