Well, I am proud to announce that my headcannon for Trespasser is finished. I´ve been like this. Ok let´s make a fair 5k fic. That should be enough. "Reaches 7k words." All right, just till 8k at max and I STOP. "Reaches 10k words" Sigh...Fine! 11k and no more... "Finishes with 15,5k"  T_T xD. i don´t know if later on I´ll head cannon backgrounds for some of the chargers...but I´ll think about that later.

 

Ahh...Bull what else can I tell you? You are awesome dude. I am going to make pts and pts until.. who knows...Too much greatness in a single character.

 

I suppose tomorrow I´ll check for typos and mistakes and then I´ll have it posted in AO3.   

 

As a side note. I can´t really believe I made one without NSFW. But it´s ok. I could always write one with raunchy content and no plot at all lol

Okay I finally (after ra knows how many Bull mances) did the dragon necklace before here comes the abyss and asking more about the relationship and I'm so happy I did

 

Also Bull+Solas+Vivienne+ Artificer Archer is freaking mow down squad my god nothing can take us down. We just KILL EVERYTHING. Even when we didn't have our specializations we destroyed everything. I'm gonna be mad when I lose Solas I tried replacing Solas for Dorian and nope Dorian destroyed the dream team and screwed everything up (also his dialogue annoyed me. Why you gotta whine so much? I think I understand how people felt about Fenris he doesn't even have a panty dropping inducing voice to make up for it). and I tried to use Cole but he ****** dies in 10 seconds and doesn't use escapes even when I set them to preferred ****** hell. Damn it Solas why are you dick. Why do you have to ruin dream team?!?

The AI is stupid and bugs out. Bull used to use ring of pain all the time and now he never uses it. I can't even be bothered anymore. Dream team can carry his ass.

 

I gave Cole poisoned weapons with the heal up grade and Vivi can carry him now. He still dies more than I'd like but his adorableness makes up for it.

While in the middle of editing PPM's next chapter, I slipped and started working on an Iron Bull/Dorian Vampire AU instead.

Guys? Are there any tumblr´s focused only in Iron Bull / Inquisitors? No more adoribull please :S, I am beginning to feel way too swamped already with Dorian. The last tumblrs I was following were ride-the-bull, and romancing Iron Bull and lately they´ve been burying me up with adoribull stuff...Now I am not following them my tumblr is quite empty at the moment. 

 

I really tried my best to love Dorian but it´s no use. Last night in Haven my Cadash began to have some conversations with him and I didn´t make any research to find out if we agree in different matters...The results were clear I think xd. We think all the opposite. I am not sure if this should be talked here since this is an Iron Bull thread but, Why is Dorian so special for people anyway? Do they feel identified with Dorian in any aspects somehow? Could someone give some opinion on this issue? I admit I am clueless xD.

 

Once more, I apologize in advance if this is not the right thread to discuss this.

lol I'm the same way. Dorian romance actually makes me quickly abort. Just so much no in it. XD It's not even rage it's just icky at this point.

 

And I'm dragging Dorian around and yeah my opinion of him is still meh. I'm pretty sure the identification is obvious though. He's gay, he feels estranged from his family, he's sassy, vulnerable, etc. So I get that.

 

I just search kinkmeme and AOW and filter out the Dorian romance bits. I end up with less but I'm also a Solas/Trevelyan shipper so I'm used to dealing with less. I'll live. And for the rest there's my very very vivid imagination

 

I can't even take adoribull as a background ship though. That's locked me out of a some good Cullenmance fics

 

I did read it it on fic series that was only because Quizzy was evil and well...lol.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've been having so much fun with it you have no idea. ♥ Like a mixture of Bloodborne and Dragon Age and it makes me very very happy to write about.

I find Dorian's archtype to be very similar to how I RP my Inquisitor, short of the playing hard to get part (because we all know my Inquisitor is easy as hell.) Which of course similar to how I (at least try? haha) deal with things in real life. Don't let anyone know you're hurting, flash and bluster and sparkle so no one sees behind the mask, don't let anyone near your vulnerable side because then they're able to hurt you, that sort of thing.

My husband kind of crapped all over that when I met him, just as Iron Bull and the Inquisitor ruin it for Dorian too. It's sweet and it hits close to home, and as a gay man who dealt with my own father disavowing me (until I married, then he wanted money), Dorian's character is extremely relatable. He also is gentle, caring, sees the good in absolutely frickin anyone, and is generally just a big sweet heart as well as being incredibly driven and focused. You give that boy some motivation and support and he will change Tevinter with it, that's something.

The biggest difference is Iron Bull is a fantasy, his character is amazing but its not anything I can personally relate to as I am not a spy and dont have a big crisis of faith living a double life thing haha. Dorians personal struggle, his tendancy to cope with self destructive behavior, etc, its all very relatable.

There's a lot to like. If I judged people off their exterior package and didn't give them a chance to be someone greater, I wouldn't have had much luck romancing a certain qunari spy, either. So it works, haha. The upside is all my adoribull-shipping friends are incredibly open to OT3, and so I fit right the hell in. >:3

Oh definitely. I look forward to exploring Tevinter and meeting more non douchecanoe Tevinters too for a change. I really hope we can do it as quizzy. Especially since it's pretty canon hardly anyone one actually remembers what the heck we look like.

I might tick some people off for saying so, because I'm neither gay, nor a man, but I can understand the crap that comes along with failing to live up to the ideals and standards set by one's father. Plus, there's just something about him. I honestly love the character. He's the perfect friend if you take the time to get past the shell he tries to hide behind.  I imagine he and my Adaar have regular cuddle sessions

I have to disagree with the perfect friend bit but that's probably because he's not my perfect friend which makes sense all personalities do not mesh well. (Some would accuse me of poor taste lol ) even Sera a grew on me a though. I mean I got past the shell his approval is the easiest in game to raise. It just didn't give me this BFF vibe. Where's Morrigan actually did while I actually disliked her far more than I ever did Dorian.

Also anyone who gets ticked off for saying you relate to Dorian despite not being a gay male is ridiculous.

All right. Guess, I´ll have to make another pt (lol) to focus completely in Dorian and give some more thoughts. Don´t worry Bull you still are the number 1 for me xD.

 

While is true that Dorian is human and we are, Iron Bull conquered me with the first dose, and not only for physical traits (I am well aware of Dorian´s hot ass and his stilysh look haha) but for the "I am going to have the initiative, the dominance, my goal is to make you feel confortable" concepts, and also one of the best things I heard from Bull: "You carry the responsability constantly, you need someone in charge sometimes, to release the stress" This was so...awesome, I don´t know why but these things echoed inside and it felt so so kinky and romantic and glorious all together...(Why Bioware...just why....!! I can´t remove Iron Bull from my head ! It´s ok, I don´t mind  )

 

I suppose I´ll take Denise´s advice and invest some time with the vint. Different chars, different concepts, and different backgrounds. I need to be more flexible I guess haha. (but I´ll have a difficult time trying to avoid Bull´s magnet. Geez! xD. i am imaging myself struggling like this: a half of me saying: Manuel go to the ****** library already! And the other one Come on! Meet your darling at the tavern...he is waiting mwuahaha   )

yes it's always worth it to drag everyone around for at least one playthrough.

 

Even the ones you don't like will have wonderful lines and scenes

 

Also I just realized my DAI squad is Bull, Cole and Solas. They're just so awesome together, there's some drama but Bull and Solas work it out once Bull becomes Tal Vashoth, and Bull's reactions to Cole and Solas banter always makes me lol. They're not the best at combat but they're just so nice to have around Dragging anyone else around is just...it makes me feel like I'm missing one of my bros. I left the bro at Skyhold!

 

Also I really hope if we do play Quizzy again (which I doubt) if we end up fighting Solas in DA4 we can use the old companions for that boss battle. That'd be awesome.

My favorite team is Bull, Cole, and Dorian. Also not the greatest at combat, but I love them Add my Adaar and they are my Quartet of Kickass. I also bring Solas along on occasion specifically for the chess game, and Sera for the mayhem.

 

Whatever happens with Solas, I really want the quizzy to be involved. Like you said, it's doubtful, but I hope. I also hope fighting Solas can be avoided.

If anything, I see the Inquisitor playing a Hawke-like role but likely throughout the whole game (or at least most of it). The Inquisitor not being involved stopping solas and finishing what they started would be a huge disappointment.
