Much as I love the Hound, I don't want IB to be like him. That is, I wouldn't mind if there was a character like the Hound, but after hearing about IB's apparently "fun-loving, boisterous" personality, I'd be disappointed if he wasn't.
Plus, yeah, charisma. IB sounds like he has it, the Hound definitely doesn't.
I would die laughing if Iron Bull was flamboyant or at least somewhat flamboyant
I'd laugh my ass off if he was a gay companion, and then I'd do my outmost to romance him... 
I hope Iron Bull is along the lines of Black Whirlwind from Jade Empire, bosterous, rude, bloodthristy and awesome.
I haven't played Jade Empire but I'm given to understand that Black Whirlwind was similar to Oghren in that he was something of a jaded washout.
I don't want Iron Bull to be a washout.
Not a washout per say. I want him to be a highly succesful merc in addition. I was thinking of him along the lines of "Boysterous Bruiser" or Blood Knight

Oh it is a shame that is so recent. I would have loved for them to recreate that scene as a reference in DAI.

I meant mostly by looks, but I think there are some aspects of the Hound that could be like Iron Bull.
I can see him being like Bronn, but I kind of hope his personality is just a little more centered on being bad-a than being humorous. Not that I don';t want him to be humorous, I do.

So in the new beautiful cover art picture we have there are 2 little figures over on the left. The left one looks like Solas, but I think the right one might be Iron Bull????
