Today Solas and Bull had some banter. But to my surprise it was Solas who actually tried to cheer Bull up about being Tal-Vashoth. I guess Solas is not that horrible after all.

 

Another thing: when you see Iron Bull is being attacked there´s this question that quizzy makes to Bull concerning his wound. I guess (more or less) the lines are:

 

Quizzy: Are you all right?

Iron Bull: Fine, I´ve made worse while fooling around bed... 

 

I´ve been always curious to know if this was just figurative speaking or if there is actually some meaning. Maybe Bull was tortured in bed in the past or something? Any theories/info about this?

I've always taken that to mean he's just been injured in bed before. Not necessarily tortured.

That´s possibly the most likely scenario. Still Bull could have shared with Quizzy some anecdotes .

Those are the lines I am trying to trigger in my game. My group is Bull, Solas and Cole. I just leave the group still like that to see if they banter, but there wasn´t luck so far :C. They should have included like some sort of banter countdown/timer showing how much time remains for next dialogue to happen. I highly hope they implement that better in next DA. Or at least they could put them like in Tresspaser: specific spots in dungeons where you can click and pop the dialogue out

I like how banter is spontaneous, just like in real life. You don't go out with a group and be like 'ok, five minutes until we're allowed to talk again'. Though I do think there's supposed to be banter around every 10-15 minutes.

I'm pretty sure it resets the counter when you travel to a camp or reload, because if I don't do that, I do get banter fairly consistently every 15-20 minutes. Some zones did not trigger any banter, like Western Approach, but you can even go back to previously visited/completed maps (like The Fallow Mire), and still get banter

 

I've also had some awesome Bull/Cole/Solas banter. Bull and Cole are just sweet together at some point, and I got banter where Bull asks Solas about banging hot Fade ladies...

 

I've read if the romance comes up and Blackwall is present instead of Solas, when Cole mentions Bull and Inqui did it on the war table, Blackwall says he's happy to inform Cullen about that I want to see it aaaall.

Mmm... so Cole can be quite graphic too when it comes to having fun or ahem describing Quizzy and Iron Bull intimate moments haha... All this time playing the "oh I am spirit and I can hear other people thoughts" role and he also get curious with sex related ones... Josephine is not the only one curious after all... xD

I think the lines between Blackwall and Cullen would go like this:

Cullen: "Blackwall sir? How can I help you?"
Backwall: "I´ve been told the Inquisitor and Iron Bull had some "action" in the war table. I thought you should know about this. Only that. Have a good day"
Cullen: "...!!! I- I see... Thank you sir I´ll take care of that" Blackwall leaves "Mmm... Sex in the war table with Iron Bull. Interesting. I´ll ask Bull about the details... Mwuahahahah..."

Later on

Cullen: "Iron Bull sir. You have a moment?"
IB: "Sure. What is it?"
Cullen: "We would like to have your insight about a certain "operation" at the war table. This way please"
IB: "Cullen, there´s no one here."
Cullen: "Of course not..."
IB: "I´ll have to teach you an important lesson... Here, my insight is ready." Bull removes his pants.

Well I would think he has learned to use his other senses as well when navigating  around and battling, since he's one eye short. Maybe he did some exercises to be able to move around with no eyes at all?

 

But still, he has semi large slits over the Dread helmets "eye bulges" and there are quite few holes in the helmet around the eye area. So he probably sees through those as well. Even if they are also covered with a semi large mesh.  

And someone probably carved the Qun inside the helmet to guide him through more spiritual paths as well. Like with the Sarebaas and horse masks.

That´s very interesting as well. Analyzing the helmet it must require good skills to do that since the sight radius with the dread helmet is even lower. Mmm... I could ask Bull about this too in my fic

Do you mean if his appearance, personality, romance, and backstory were applied to a female version of himself? From the war table missions with the Valo-Kas, Shokrakar pretty much sounds like a female Iron Bull... though we don't know much about her life under the Qun or what she looks like. Anywho, I'm assuming this genderswapped Iron Bull would be called the Dawnstone Dragon and I am 1000% on board with that.

Well that´s a fun question.... xD. If that had happened, I wouldn´t have romanced anyone in DAI I guess... Dorian is not my type and a female Iron Bull... mmm just no lol. Nothing personal/against having a female Iron Bull. It´s about tastes. Too many females in DAI already. And also very few gay/pansexual options.
