I think the dislike will make sense if DHMG turns out to be Dorian. Even if he's fighting against corruption in Tevinter, I can't imagine he'd be at all fond of the qunari, and I can't imagine Iron Bull has any love for Tevinter, even if he has completely turned his back on the qun.

I saw a theory on tv tropes that Iron Bull and DHMG aren't going to get along, based on how they've both got this, crossed arms, grumpy face look going on in the trailer, which the troper attributed to an attitude of "Man, why do I have to stand next to this guy?"

That's kind of funny because the majority of Tumblr thinks they're going to be super bros. I feel like Iron Bull, DHMG, and Sera are going to be my favorites. I'll be sad if they don't get along

I haven't seen any Iron Bull/DHMG bromance talk on here, so that's interesting the tumblr community came to that. 

 

I've seen a lot of talk of Iron Bull becoming bff's with Vivienne or Sera. Little bit of talk about those being turned into ships, too. But really I don't think I've seen any talk about what the relationship between IB and DHMG has been.

Bromance is something I'd love to see more of in general.  Obviously, some of our companions might not get along, as is natural in Bioware games.  But even then, companions don't really seem to have bromances going on.  The closest thing that comes to mind is Merill and Isabela's friendship--which was adorable, but still.  Not exactly on the mark, and only one example that springs to mind.  I want rounds of ale at the bar as they swap stories about their first kill or something.  And hugs.  I cannot stress how much I love a good friendship hug.  Especially man hugs.  Man hugs, like man tears, are mana from heaven.

I'm thinking he'll get along well well with Varric and Sera so far, I don't have much of an opinion yet about DHMG to know what he'll like

What about his relationship with the grey warden? The GW looks very serious, but that one concept art with him laughing his arse off keeps popping into my head.

 

Regardless i think it'll be a very fun group of people. Oh the banter it will bring

I'm thinking he'll get along with Beard Warden. Qunari do have a huge respect for the wardens; I'm hoping that carries over.

Alright so a new guessing game, what do you think Iron Bull's mercenary band is called.
In reference to an earlier post of mine my first (silly) guess is Iron Bull's Merry Mercenary Men

I always thought his band was named Red Fists, but since Cullen is a militairy advisor, I have no idea

Still, Red Fists would be very fitting

Someone noted that the banners in the first trailer in the scene with Iron Bull match banners in a scene from the new trailer; they're white/grey bull skulls on a black field, which seems appropriete for Iron Bull. Were I to name my mercenary band the Red Fists, that isn't the banner I would use.

Main point being, I'm decently sure that if the "Red Fists" were attached to Iron Bull that's something that's been changed. Perhaps to avoid and confusion/speculation on any connection they may have with the Red Templars, or just keeping the number of groups in the game that have the word Red in their name to a minimum.

 

If nothing else I like the bull skull banner a lot more than the plain red ones. They have a lot more character.

I'm not confident with calling them Iron Skulls, though. It's a nice name but it could be anything.

 

Might be something in Qunlat, for all we know, though then again, if IB isn't even using Qunlat for his own name, I suppose he probably isn't using it for his organization.
