He's attributed with putting on a different accent for every character he's ever played ... Moreover, most of his characters over his career have looked diverse. So long as we're fawning over Gary Oldman though:



He was handsome when he was young, and has also aged very well. (: I wonder if he was ever invited to voice a game whether he would use his natural intonation.

I wouldn't peg him to voice Iron Bull, but I wouldn't put it past him.

Yeah Nick Fury is badass but he's also one stealthy mofo.

 

This does make me want to find the perfect comic counterpart to Iron Bull however.

But that criteria covers lots of comic characters! I mean you could just as easily be describing the Goon. (Well except the eye patch but Iron bull does not even seem to have an eyepatch)

Varric fudges ALOT for Cassandra's benefit.  There was a cut line with him talking to Hawke.
 
Varric: I told her everything.
Hawke: Everything?
Varric: Don't worry, I left out the part about us...
 
It made it onto the romance thread concerning someone remembering Varric saying he finds humans to be unattractive but calling Isabella hot.  It's not much to go on since it was cut, but there's other stuff, like everyone saying Meredith's gone nuts, but until the final boss no actual scenes of her doing anything crazy. 
 
A lot of it, though, I interpreted to be what Cassandra pictured based on what Varric said.  She may be picturing qunari as all looking the same and elves as being funny-looking.
 
Although with their high, wide-set eyes I thought they looked deer-like, which I thought was nifty.

It's for the former reason that I feel compelled to bring Varric everywhere in DA2.
