I thought this was a dark fantasy, yet this is becoming a Skyrim, but with 3 other companions game. Enemy designs are too colorful and sometimes cartoonish, (looking at you red templers). And the fade monsters...just plane ugly, not even scary. I mean look at the Rage monster....literally *a giant pile of orange goo*,like those flan things from Final Fantasy, but these ones talk. Desire one, that I find to be terrifying. Pride is hilarious, a giant brute who mostly casts spells (weak ones), but dies quicker and talks a lot of crap. Don't even get me started on shades....I mean come on...GETH??? The Ash Wraiths are terrifying though...if you look up close I mean. And now the slender man wannabe, and tentacle head ......meh. Am I supposed to keep the female companions away from our tentacle headed friend? Are those tentacle supposed to even mean anything at all. Did he live under the sea o something, or what? Did he possess an octopus....man?

I've got friends in the Final Fantasies and drinking buddies in the Skyrim. All of them matter.

Dragon Age was always high fantasy. They just marketed it as dark fantasy. Skyrim is heroic fantasy, but the story is so weak it doesn't matter.

They were honest though and said that they looked up to skyrim for some inspiration and tips.

....I thought I was the only one who thought the shades look like Geth. I mean seriously, they do! It makes me want to hug them... Geth are adorable 

I do also find the demons (except Desire, she freaks me out with her fondling) super adorable but I find Hurlocks in DA:O cute too so I'm prolly just cray-cray.

Isn't it still a bit early to judge based on a handful of pictures?  I am waiting til E3 to find out more before I start giving the game grief.  I don't think it's even fully in beta yet!
