Dark Fantasy? Nah, Final Fantasy! 3 Bs, boring, basic, and baby enemy designs.

Nah. I'm fine with being over 30. If anything, I've been enjoying my 30s overall more than I did my 20s.
That's the way it ought to be. Each decade better than the last.

The ghasts were out of place? We have darkspawn and zombies and a lot of other undead/unholy things and the ghasts are one of your complaints?

I hadn't even heard of Final Fantasy until, like, a year or so ago.
I must live under the biggest rock...
Don't worry your not alone. I only heard about Final Fantasy when I joined the BSN and people were comparing DAII to it.
You have to admit, the rock is cozy I've even got a 90 inch LCD TV under the rock.

@Emissary Er, huh? This is what you quoted:
You're around my age, I would guess. For a point of reference: I was in a freshman in high school when Kurt Cobain committed suicide.

Just make the silly looking monsters say 'f***' and 'c**t' all the time, but due to their funny accents pronounce it like 'foock.' and 'coont.'
Then we would have real dark fantasy on our hands.

My 20s have generally been a lot better than my 10s. Getting out of an orphanage life and lack of real opportunity to attend high school and then traveling for years and now going to college... oh yeah, I'm doing better.
On topic though: Final Fantasy is (or rather, was) good so the original post doesn't faze me. Also, I like forests m'self.

No, we'd just have a cheap attempt to be "dark and gritty" like a lot of RPGs tend to do these days. ![]()

1.) We know so little to make those assumptions
2.)why does everything have to have a purpose culturally? Their purpose is to make the world feel alive and add depth
3.)If skyrim is so much better than a game that hasnt been released yet, why dont you take the time you have complaining and use it to play more skyrim?

I'd put money on it. Plus, you know the game is going to drag our butts into the Deep Roads. I think I'm one of the few that is looking forward to it though.

I don't get the complaint about the giants eating bears making no sense. How does it not make sense? We eat animals. Animals eat animals. Why can't giants eat animals?

forgive me you are so right, I just remembered kirkwall and the ridiculous crap that i had to deal with.... Honestly. Magic in dragon age is supposed to be special yet these little abominations use it better than most, and yet no one in Thedas, not even the tervinter would care to know how, why and what the hell.
