Since we will build our own army, I'd really love to see all those hard work pay off. it would be awesome if we can be a part of a huge, chaostic and total kick ass final battle; or at least having something more than a short cutscene of it, like walking on the castle wall and saw the huge crowd fighting below etc. Please, with cherry on top, make that happen BioWare.
Please give us kick ass battles.

Sure, if only for the satisfaction of casting chain lightning in a clusterfeck.
One shot killed half the bandits in Kirkwall and it was glorious

No, I am totally against kick ass battles.

The chick in the purple hair was always was more effective than the guy in the green tights, anyway.
And BTW, I also want no motherhood, patriotism, or apple pie in the game either. ![]()

Well he'll be more effective in his next movie, where he'll have super speed. Had to move to another franchise to do it but he'll finally be a better hero.

Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes and Crusaders did a great job with large scale battles and having armies and stuff. And those were on the actual XBOX ONE.
If I could get that blended with DA... oh man there goes another pair of pants

Epic moments like the the battle of Ostagar and the battle of Denerim would certainly be great to see.
Also cool moments like the gauntlet and the urn of sacred ashes.

I would love to see big battles in cutscenes or in the background while we play and even better if we participate in it but I assume they will only happen in the newer consoles and pc since they will be stronger than the older consoles.

I thought the Witcher 2 did a great job with a siege, given the limitations involved. The atmosphere inside the siege tower as it rolled towards the city walls was great. Also, King Foltest was the man.
Witcher 2 - Storming the walls
Something similar would certainly be cool.

Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes and Crusaders had huge scale fights with absurd numbers of NPCs and that was on the actual Xbox 1. The game didn't have much built around it as far as non-combat animations and dialogue though but you'd think in 10 years they could add that.
Those games also had huge semi-open world regions and a great army control system.
Holy crap the more I think about those games they were ahead of their times.

How about just one epic grand scale battle involving all of your troops, but done perfectly, instead of several? How they handled the final battle in DA:O was pretty impressive.

Not only the ending is important but the build-up of the plot as well. A well made ending means nothing if the plot reads like something found in the loo. ![]()
That said, I don't care what they do as long as the plot and ending are well written and exciting. The endings of Mass Effect 2 and the Baldur's Gate trilogy didn't have "huge and chaostic" final battles, but they definitely kicked ass and are absolutely EPIC.
