I managed to stay away from ME forums after the entire script for ME3 was leaked from the demo. Don't personally think it is needed yet. There is a lot of information, especially around gameplay mechanics and background lore, that is fine to know beforehand. My big concern is about companions, for some reason people seem to want to devour that information and the devs are fairly forthcoming where I would personally rather not know anything about them (unless you start with them like Bethany and Carver).

We will be joining you but at this point it is too early. There are still a few months left before this self-imposed blackout becomes absolutely necessary. We luckily missed the Wrex revelations you discuss below but have not seen BioWare issue spoilers of similar magnitude on other occasions.

- E3 is just around the corner and considering that the game is releasing this year, I would not put it behind them [Bioware] to show off plot details that are on the borderline of being a spoiler if not being an out right spoiler. Remember the E3 2007 preview of Mass Effect where Bioware showed off the confrontation between Shepard and Wrex on Virmire in regards to destroying Saren's base that housed the technology to cure the genophage? According to Bioware, media they release is not considered spoilers. However, showing off an important (one of the more important points in the entire trilogy!) and detailing the possible outcomes is defined as a plot spoiler in my book. Also from a narrative standpoint, the reveal of Garrus in Mass Effect 2 was supposed to be a mystery, but Bioware ruined that long before release by confirming him as a party member!

Anyone else joining me?

All I can say is, good luck fellow fan; because no matter where you go, spoilers will have

already spread to every corner of the interwebz. There is no escape. None at all.

I didn't have this issue with DAO and DAA because I wasn't following the site-but I prefer

spoilers. The only time spoilers affect me is when it shows the game's warning signs that

it may not be what you had hoped it would be.

Well, I will continue to jump on every tiny bit of info like a maniac until the game comes out. I don't care about spoilers. I will only stop the day the game comes out and I can actually play it. ;)
