I've a feeling that I'm going to loathe her and all she stands for, but that she's going to be an excellent character.

So according to the QA panel that just streamed, Sera, Bull and Cassandra are Mr. Laidlaw's favourite party in terms of banter. He said something like "Bull needles Sera, Sera needles Bull and Cassandra's like 'Uuugh'". Another also stated his favourite was Sera with pretty much everyone, because she's "cheeky".

I don't think it's bad , Sera is poking Vivienne with a stick , because she knows she's snotty and she's not going to like being called "Vivi" like they're BFF or something.
And Vivienne is just like what we've heard about her.
I mean she got her job as Grand Enchanter and people were expecting her to be a glorified court jester , and she probably put on an attitude and went all "Yeah , I don't think so ".
They just are from different background with very different social norm .
Sera clearly likes winding people up to see what happens, while Vivienne is obviously a master of The Game. We're seeing two completely different styles of verbal fencing coming at each other head-on. It's beautiful and you don't quite know what's going to happen, like a Samurai in combat with a seasoned street-fighter.
And I find Sera a whole lot more agreeable than the resident Ice Queen... no offence, Vivi.
