If she's available, I might actually do something I never thought I would and *gasp* romance an elf.

Perish the thought. I thought Cass was your one and only?

Sera was the bright spark in an otherwise mediocre showing. Between her animations, combat, and snippets of information about her she was pretty much the only thing that actually made me feel excited for the game again.

Heck I might romance her if I can with my female qunari which I didn't plan to do at all.

http://www.dragonage...er-profile-sera
I take it you've see her character profile?
She's sounding like such an interesting character. On one hand, I agree 100% that it's the little man who is really suffering while these different factions fight. However, I am also tend to play for the Greater Good in the long run which she seems to detest. And then there's also the fact she seems the type of person who'd support a rebellion to help elves...except this rebellion is prolonging a war that is hurting both elves and poor humans.
I can't wait to interact with her.
I agree- she sounds like she'd be a good foil for responsibility-oriented character types who would put their faction or the nebulous 'greater good' over others. Some times she would be right in that... and some times she would be wrong, which is just as interesting. By the sounds of it, coming to term with consequences of irresponsibility sounds like her character arc, which could be very interesting.
I bet you'll be at odds with her about mages, though, JB. Just an empty wager.

Will Sera be able to use dual daggers? Or just limited to using a bow as seen in the trailers?

“Sera likes people who try (even if they fail), and is suspicious of people who are so powerful they don’t have to,”
I can see her getting along with Varric, and having a very antagonistic relationship with Vivienne.
I'm honestly not sure how she'll respond to Cassandra though. “Doing something for the ‘greater good’ makes her angry, because she thinks that's shorthand for ‘let's hurt people who don't deserve it because it's easier.’" makes me think they will clash, but Cassandra's also very down-to-earth and practical, not exactly one to ignore problems or the suffering of everyday people like Vivienne.

I can see Sera and Cassandra seeing eye to eye eventually. Cassandra does truly care about doing 'good'.
Vivienne though? lolno

Well I tend to think the same way she does.
It's important to try to do good "right now".It may not be the best plan in the long run but you don't know what's going to happen tomorrow anyway.
As for her being a thief , I really don't care.
If she start stealing from poor people , yeah I'd have a problem with that.
I'm not saying stealing is good , just it's really low on my list of bad actions.
Edit: Oh I just read the new thing. And I'm just in love with her!

Cassandra supported defending the keep and not the village in the Crestwood demo. I think sera will be pissed at this decision.“Sera likes people who try (even if they fail), and is suspicious of people who are so powerful they don’t have to,”

As much as I want to romance her with my male PC, and all those things are true, I prefer to keep an open mind about this. Bioware might decide to change this 'approach'.
