When I learned that Gorim moved on I was so angry that I refused to finish Aeducan's playthrough.

 

Yup, my first Aeducan was an honorable, kind sort who was deeply in love with him and rushed to Denerim, only to have her heart broken. I never finished that PT. I did a second one where she was an opportunistic self-obsessed snot and hilariously enough ended up liking Gorim/Aeducan even more after that because the way he followed her around and happily enforced her awfulness and smiled up at her like he was so proud of her for being so skilled/commanding and the sun shone out of her awful ass....slkfjslkfj. I was able to finish that one though, because she didn't immediately go looking for him, and by that time she had realized Alistair was heir to the throne so she was busy trying to position herself there. Didn't work out the way she wanted, poor dear.

In my mind Lady Aeducan survived the joining so she could reunite with Gorim. When I discovered that it was not possible I literally screamed at the computer. I was so devasted that I didn't want to play any other dwarf lady in DA:O. And so I started the game from the beginning. I created a female city elf who romanced Leliana. She became my canon warden.

Mass Effect

 

Liara, my favourite ME romance/companion of the series.

 

Beauty and brains truly, intelligent, loyal, an adorable dork, loved her moments of social awkwardness, very endearing. She is deeply passionate about what she loves and those she cares for. Her voice so soothing and breezy loved it, Liara has a kind gentle quality to her, she also had a sadness to her that was quite poignant. She is also resilient, tough, a total BAMF in combat, all in all I loved seeing her grow as a character throughout the series.

 

As for DA,

Leliana. God tier waifu, repetition was never more sweet or fun, didn't need anyone else in DAO had Lels. Adore her and I'm gonna find it hard to find another companion who can compare to her, she's pretty much perfect to me. She's deeply romantic and charming as hell but she also has this incredibly attractive steel quality underneath all her cute and adorableness. Her colourful backstory also makes her all the more intriguing and interesting, there is alot of depth to Leliana. Plus her voice *melts* 

 

In DA2,

I enjoyed Isabela, loved pairing her with my sarcastic fem hawke, fun romance and Merril was cute but I prefer to go with Isabela for my canon pick. Even though I didn't enjoy the DA2 romances as much as I enjoyed my DAO one.

Oh Jack, jeebus I lusted after her so bad in ME, punk girls *weak knees*. Fooking BS that she wasn't a bi option, and I actually was never interested in Miranda or Tali myself, lots of queer girls I knew were tho, *shrugs*.

 

I see what you mean, but i still think a genderbent sera would be cool..and so would a genderbent iron bull..

I see what you mean, but i still think a genderbent sera would be cool..and so would a genderbent iron bull..   How Gorim moved on also annoyed me, but it helped my Aeducan move on with Lelliana, and choose to do the U.S.

I'm oddly OK with that... and I am not okay with that!*ding*

I hope there are more female Qunari in Inquisition beyond just the (potential) Inquisitor. I've always gotten the impression they're kind of few and far between outside the Qun, but it'd be a bit weird if the Inquisitor was the only one.
