I thought they were being re-added in Inquisition. ![]()
What's the context for "Obey me, arrow in my face!"
RIP weapon sets.
Gone but never forgotten.
I still have creys for my duel weapon rogue, sword n' dagger, double one-handed sword wielder or hand axes. :'(
What's the context for "Obey me, arrow in my face!"
she's probably mocking who ever she put the arrow in
Bad Guy: you will all obey me! hahahahaha *arrow goes through his face and falls dead*
*Sera walks over and bends down*
Sera: Blah blah blah! *rips the arrow out* Obey me, arrow in my face!
Varric: who's the elf?
Inquisitrix: My next conquest *smirks as she eyes Sera*
I wonder where Alexia is I didn't see her on all day
Does anyone have a favorite romance quest? I made. Thread about that awhile back but I'm curious what this threads favorites are. Doesn't have to be a. Iowans game.
Mass Effect: Ashley and Thane
DA:O: Morrigan and Leli
DA2: Isabela
Bows for Sera forevermore.

So Sera can also be respeced?
So Sera can also be respeced?
Everyone can
Genderbent Varric is giving me mixed feels.
No chest hair, but...bewbs.
Isabelo: "Your cleavage? My fingers? Oh, Varrice, stop! You're making me quiver."
Okay, is it just me, or does that sounds a little strange?
I feel like considering this further was perhaps a mistake ![]()
ugh this time change is already messing with me
Anyways, as for Sera… I'm not sure what else to say, seems like a fun companion. Looking forward to meeting her in Inquisition, and romancing her in my second playthrough, most likely. The "obey me arrow in the face" line isn't my favorite so far, but I kinda liked "My people said the Inquisition would want him dead, so he's dead!". She seems impulsive, in a fun kind of way.

The arrow in the face line is stupid, but I did like her Inquisition line.
Just ordered all of the book!
What book do I NEED to read first before getting stuck into DA:I?

It sounds stupid because we don't know the context that it is used in. If I was walking down the street saying it, I would look stupid but if I was mocking someone, it might not. Context is key and trailers have a habit of f***ing with context.

The Masked Empire and Asunder are considered "Bioware's canon" but you don't really need to read them. Everything's explained in the game anyway, though the two novels give a little more insight into events prior to Inquisition. I've been unable to get them myself, but apparently Bioware isn't going to make them integral to the story.

Read Asunder and the Masked Empire. These will give you the most important information and background for various things that will be going on in DA:I. Following that I would then prioritize the list as Last Flight, The Stolen Throne and The Calling. The last two actually take place way before Origins and mostly give background relevant to DAO
While you won't "need" any of the books I strongly suggest getting Asunder and Masked Empire read before DA:I to increase your enjoyment. As an added bonus they are very good books as long as you remember not every book has to be a literary classic.
Y'all mofos need Sera, asap.
Yes... Sera....... Give me...
It's true. It's so true.
It's only going to get worse. I think I'm contagious!!?? QUICK SOMEONE GIVE ME AN ADVANCE COPY OF DRAGON AGE INQUISITION. FOR SCIENCE. FOR PUBLIC HEALTH.
For Science. You monster.
I still love it that so many people became Sera fans thanks to just those two bits of dialogue
Bits up, face down!
What's the context for "Obey me, arrow in my face!"
As Saiyan said. Some powerful guy was all "Hah, you can't touch me, I'm too powerful!"...
And then she put an arrow through his smug face.
Epic win scenario if you ask me.
Was playing around with the Dragon Age Poster Art assets, but alas, I am incapable of being serious or taking the time to get fonts looking nicely, so all I made was this.
Spoiler
She can't fly, you daft t*t!
Oh the bittersweet agony, but I will still make you mine sweet one. It is only a matter of time
Oh. It's one of the ladies that actually looks like she knows how to handle that 249 SAW!
And after thorough observation, I think that's a Comp M4 mounted on that thing, too.
Was pretty hard to find a sight on the SAW though. I was... distracted.
Has Sera's awful haircut been discussed?

None of those are considered canon AFAIK. Or, they're canonical events, but the novels' telling of them isn't strictly canonical.

*Drill Instructor voice*
Quit raining on my parade, son!
*normal voice*
Her haircut is perfect in relation to the story of how it came to be, man.
She cut it with a KNIFE. Kind of like me and my facial hair that one time. Lemme tell ya, you never nail that stuff right.
Personal experience.
Besides, it adds to her awesome character.
Has Sera's awful haircut been discussed?
Yes, along with its color.
