Regarding something Sera-related... I'm still not at all happy about her treatment of Cole, and hope we can get her to shape up in that regard.

I know but like I said, i'd like them to use a female once.
Also lol @ dumb. Pls.
I'd rather they use a female for once also, or continue the Unity route with multiple characters and THIS time add females
I said they aren't that ![]()

I can't really blame her, but I do hope her and Cole will get on beter terms throughout the game.

I think it makes sense. However, I do expect there to be some flexibility. I doubt those views are set in stone.

Oh please, I can and will blame her. If Cole gets the constant Merrill treatment I might lose my mind.

Then you should do that ![]()
I'm just saying that I personally can't really blame her. I do however hope that she gets over it.

I'm hoping that even with Cole in the party with Sera, they'll still have funny banter. I can imagine the Inquisitor or Cass(if she's in the party) having to act like the older sibling and break up their squabbles.
Inquisitor: Sera, now say you're sorry to Cole for calling him an "it."
Sera: But it's a demon from the Faaaaaade!
Inquisitor: Sera.
Sera: Fiiiiine, I'm sorry I called you an "it" Cole.
Inquisitor: Thank you Sera.
Sera: He's still a stupid-head though...
Inquisitor: DON'T MAKE ME TURN THIS PARTY AROUND!

As I've said many times before, I think it's safe to assume that Sera's attitude to the confused, spirit-of-some-sort-of-unknown-origin multiple murderer that is Cole will change over the game, at least a little bit, especially if her Inquisitor gets to speak with her about it. To be honest, I'd worry about anyone who just accepts him unconditionally at first glance.

Iron Bull pretty much does. 'He's here so deal with it' is his attitude towards Cole.

There's being cautious, and then there's being depersonalizing.

i love lousiana so much culture and the food! ( recently moved to montgomery and im loving the south XD)don't get me started on how Ubisoft played Aveline de Granpre...guys she was in Louisiana I mean...that's literally me in Assassin's Creed: Liberarion. Gave her a young voodoo assassin fit and then...imported her to the larger consoles and then...nothing. Zero promotion. Social media kept her alive and relevant.this was talked about a few pages back just needed to get that out lol

Which seems odd considering what's been said about Bull's attitude to demons. Then of course there's Solas, whose opinion of the Fade and of spirits is supposed to be very different to most.
It's entirely possible that the way they act towards Cole could influence others, including Sera.
There's being cautious, and then there's being depersonalizing.
Which just raises the question, is the entity known as Cole a person? Most people in Thedas, scholars and mages included, wouldn't consider spirits to be people. Cole, of course, is a unique case, and anyone who has had the luxury of reading the game's promotional stuff and Asunder would know that. Anyone who hasn't (i.e. pretty much everyone in Thedas) will have to make up their own minds on that.

He's from the Fade.
I started reading Asunder...
And his first moment in the book...
Cole, stay the heck away from me while holding that dagger!
So... I like.
But no Sera.
Also, what do they mean by "not everything is gameplay"?
The Breach in the beginning didn't look Frostbite-y, but the characters sure did.
What do you guys (and gals) think?
If I was Sera i'd be cautious as fug too tbh.
Can't give this enough thumbs even if I tried.

Best not to assume she needs re-educating before you actually talk to her about it.

I'd be cautious as the Inquisitor, though it depends on how he is introduced. I can't imagine it will come up immediately; it's the sort of thing that might take anything from the length of the "recruitment quest" to half the game to come to light.

Agreed. Sera seems to be kind of a city mouse (or street rat to be more accurate), so stuff like spirits, demons and all that is way beyond her reference pool. She's not one for thinking about stuff too much, if the 'my people said the Inquisition would want him dead, so he's dead" line is any indication. She just took that and ran with it instead of, you know, checking her sources to make sure the Inquisition did want that.
She's going to cause a lot of trouble, isn't she? ![]()
