Also needs to be said I appreciate all those who write Sera fanfic, whatever type it may be, same goes for those who create art. It takes time, talent and alot of work, don't stop doing what you enjoy. It's very easy to criticize not so easy to do it yourself.

Welp, so. erm.

 

My case for rats & Sera:

 

They're everywhere and considered vermin, even though they are very resourceful and trying to just fend for themselves...much like the common folk that Sera supports.

 

They're highly intelligent but squeaky and cute, just like Sera.

 

They're "different" enough that it would appeal to her hipster sensibilities.

 

Okay, so I've thought about my argument a bit as well. I think that a pet squirrel fits her because squirrels are nimble, energetic, sociable and playful animals. And they're adorable! 

 

I totally did not look up words that describe squirrels.

this is the only thread I ever felt immediately welcome in. there were no cliques...and I honestly can't believe that's still a thing because grown up but it does exist in this forum. if you're a shadow observer like me(or just an observer...there is only one Kasumi *snicker*), you all have noticed this too.

That's a pretty shoddy general statement. Going by this, If a game had exploitative depictions of LGBT characters for example, and I find myself offended by that, then I am going too far?

*shrug* my opinion so I don't expect everyone to agree and that's not me being rude just being truthful. I just refuse to let a video game that is supposed to be a form of entertainment offend me, just takes the fun away. But then again it is very very VERY hard to offend me lol
