Once I found out how much sodium was in a regular slice of pizza I had to cut it out of my diet, I only eat thin crust now with veggie toppings. Now I'm hungry thinking about it lol.

Now now! There are plenty of explosive combinations with Sera!

Team YOLO: Dorian, Iron Bull and Sera

Team Talking But Not To Each Other: Cole, Vivienne and Sera

Team Seeker's Last Nerve: Varric, Cassandra and Sera

Team Vulgar: Blackwall, Iron Bull and Sera.

There are more but I forget what they're called. Sera is like deep frying: it's a bad idea but it makes everything awesome!

Good comedic potential, but also creepy and a little sad.

I'd rather play mix and match with companion combinations and see what gives the biggest boom. :D

If only Sandal was a companion option then I'm sure it will be the biggest boom you've ever seen/heard

I'm super duper new, but I've been stalkin' this thread for awhile now, even through that unfortunate negativity that is thankfully buried now. Anyway, my first playthrough of Inquisition was going to be a male inquisitor who romanced Cassandra, but as soon as I started reading this thread, I became conflicted again lol Originally, I was going to romance Sera first playthrough, then after some time passed, I decided to romance Cassandra instead. Now here I am back to square one xD Sera just seems too fun to pass up, but on the other hand, I don't know how soon we'll bump into her, unlike Cassandra who we start with. I want to be able to recruit her as soon as possible, you know?

Thank god for strategy guides.

Welcome! Assuming they weren't cheating on the livestreams, and we've no reason to assume that they were, we can get Sera by level 5 and perhaps earlier, which would seem to be pretty early in the game. I've the feeling that we'll get all the companions pretty early, so that we can have the scene where we proclaim "Whatever we were before, we are now The Inquisition." with a fair old bit of the game still to go.

I can see the Sera section of the strategy guide to be MIA or incomplete... she is the "wildcard" after all XD

So, yeah, you got me laughing.

I can't like stuff though...

Would be pretty funny if her recruitment section of the guide was like "I have no idea where she might be, because she's a total wildcard"

That makes sense, but see, part of my plan is, I like to explore things. And with Inquisition, I'm going to be exploring every inch of every map I come across, so that might take me a bit before I reach Sera xD I mean, I suppose I could do a straight run for Sera, but it would bother my OCD.

Just do a straight run for Sera as much as possible... and explore after you get her.

Problem solved! :-)

Oh I'm the same for exploring, but remember that many areas have parts that you can't do at low levels, and I'm confident that we'll still have loads of huge areas left to explore by the time we reach her.

Yeah, that's what I might have to do.  I'll just have to ignore all the pretty landscapes in the meantime o:

I intend to find every single hidden cheese and wine the devs placed... just hoping that Sera cracks a witty joke

Actually according to Dragon Age RPG Nevarra is (or at least was) cultural reflection of Spain. And now they added this whole Necromancy thing which is kind of weird, but what can we do, right?

Nevarra is loosely based off Prussia :)

mad pages ago but I never felt like Liara's romance was flat. I thought her character development fit in line with the type of person she was supposed to be. With the exception of the death of Benezia, one could argue that most everything, including LotSB, was because of her loyalty to Shepard. I think that...was the thing that cemented her for me. Out of all of the companions...she was the only one that went to look for Shepard's body on her own. She felt she deserved a proper burial (and she did) and I know some of it was for selfish reasons, which she admits.

ME1, she's a socially awkward scientist. I thought that was written well. ME2, especially if Shepard romanced her, she is not okay. And she shouldn't be...Shepard died. Can you imagine how that would change a person? Your first introduction to love and then it's suddenly (and violently) taken away from you. I'm just amazed she had a full time job honestly. I imagine that first year was hard (I perused the comics but not in depth). But she did change...and if she didnt, I would side eye the writers. I mean...she'd just lost her mother. Like...I don't know how this part of her character arc can be ignored.

ME3...she came into her own. She had an identity outside of Shepard and I think that was very important too...it helped her find herself. No one pushed her into the role of SB...she wanted it. I could feel her maturity.

not typing this to change anyone's mind or anything. I do feel like calling her character arc flat is a disservice though. Because I know tragedy IRL...and to me it was portrayed as accurately as possible within that setting.

Aye aye Kasumi !

Thats how I feel about Liara (and a bit more but I aint telling :P ) .

I remember her talk in ME1 saying how Asari deal with loss . And while she had the knowledge she never experienced the thing herself . That make it even more worse..and I think they painted that well in ME2 because seeing her then..made my heart ache and just wanted to hug the hell out of her ! or rewindtimeandwarnherbutucanneverbepreparedforloss

Anyway just wanted to add this..... ;)
