Call me fussy, but I don't like how she shoots without a quiver.

Leliana was doing the same thing in that one cutscene.

Looks like an obvious oversight to me now :(

Or they have not added quivers yet to the game.

I would hope so.

So we may get to hear Sera speak when they do an HD upload of the demo hopefully.

She looked a bit dead in part of the demo. I hope you can avoid that.

As much as I like her character, am I the only one who thinks her face model looks abit...off, like it's slightly short and squashed, especially in comparison with the rest of her body/the other companions. The resemblance to Joffery really doesn't help either :P

Yeah, I can't imagine recovering from that

Spoiler

At least she still has a body. Iron bull apparently got disintegrated.

It was a tough choice man. We could have either bowstrings or keep our quivers.

I highly doubt they'd kill off a party member in such a nonchalant fashion by seemingly random demons busting in. Let alone just revealing it like this. She's wounded, not dead.

Well most likely she got knocked out.

I severely doubt they would kill off companions in such a random manner.

Especially in a bioware game.

We do lack the story leading up to this scenario. Maybe the choices up until then were horrible ones? The worst set-up possible?

Buuuuttttt yeah, from what I recall you either kill companions by simply not recruiting them, kill companions due to choices near the end of the game, or the PC makes the decision to eliminate them in person.

And HAAAAA disintegrated Iron Bull! Guy is so heavy I don't blame the demons/ darkspawn whoosits-magee for opting not to drag him in.

I could have been any other companion in that spot (depends who you picked).

They won't kill someone off by chance like that...it will be related to a crisis point in the story.

I was thinking the same thing.

Something like a Virmire situation.

For examples on how Bioware kills off party members, see Solus, Mordin.

That was a very specific situation that necessitated Mordin's sacrifice.

Not to mention Mordin WASN'T part of the squad in ME3.

Sera and IB went on the same direction, so i guess they're in the same situations.
I think that the quest is Dorian-related (it's about Tevinter), so it's possible the other two companions get knocked out, and in LOTSB.
Though it seems Dorian was saying to leave, or they'd all die...

My point was that there'd probably be a bit more fanfare to it than "one minute she's fine, a few seconds later her corpse is dumped on the floor with no one in the scene particularly even noticing that 'holy ****, our buddy is dead!'"  :P

Yeah.

Still unless I get clarification that scene will bug me til launch.

Dorian was saying "You move and we all die." probably because it would mess up the spell or something.

It seems a bit early in the game to be killing Companions; you get a "Codex Entry: Mage" after killing Alexius; but I don't see any reason why the Venatori would spare Sera.

They could just be to worried about your spell to focus on killing companions right then.

"IGNORE THE FOLLOWERS STOP THE LEADER" type thing.

Or we could be wrong who knows.

God damn it I dont want to worry about random scenes killing my followers.

They seem to be very interested in Leliana. Maybe they ambush the two party members you bring with you besides Dorian who seems crucial to this scene and hope to use them as leverage?
