And morning.
I'm obsessed with the page count because I think its awesome that Sera being a new character has the fastest growing fan base over the new characters and the older characters as far as page count goes (Cullen doesn't count lol that might as well be a cult lol)
Its not really hard to get so many pages when its the same 5 people posting over and over again.
And its not a competition, as so many others have said before.
3 pages until 1150 guys xD lol

It's a feminine penis. Completely different situation.
Totally doesn't make you gay if it's a feminine penis.
Morning everybody!
So... Isabela vs Aveline... It's interesting, totally understandable but ultimately a little saddening to me that people would identify so strongly with one or other of them that they'd dump the one they didn't like and never get to experience their ultimate reconciliation. As a "neutral observer" I think that they're both equally mean to each other at the beginning, but I can quite see how if you feel an affinity to one, you'd tend to forgive her outbursts and blame the other. That's human nature, and something that it's really tough for us to fight against, however open-minded we might try to be.
I've said it before in this thread, but I'd reiterate that Aveline and Isabela one key thing in common; they are are strong, capable and independent women. That they have such differing personalities and and outlooks on sex, personal relationships and duty goes to underline for me what I understand about human psychology in general; there are much stronger variances in personality traits within one sex than there are between sexes. The idea of gender roles is so patently ridiculous to me as it's only founded on the vaguest of generalities. Yes you might get slightly more men who are one way, and slightly more women who are another way, but in the end, male or female we're all different.
It's when we expect/demand that others behave like us that friction and conflict arises, and that's why it's satisfying to me that Isabela and Aveline seem to come to respect and accept each other by the end. They are very different versions of what a strong woman can be but both are completely valid. That to me is the point of their relationship
As to X-Com, yes the new version is simplified compared to the old, and some people shout "dumbed down" but I still really enjoyed it. The older games are certainly worth checking out if you enjoy a challenge, though.
I'd say that there are considerably more than five regular posters in this thread, but I don't take our page count too seriously, either. We're active and chatty and that's great, but it's not a race. I'll take part in the celebrations of a numerical milestone, but it's all in fun. Let's not be antagonistic to fans of other characters. That way madness lies.
A penis is just an overgrown clitoris anyway. *nod nod*

Why? Too much for your innocent mind?
How dare you to suggest that!
If it was really too much, I wouldn't feel weird.
That's why it feels weird.
Where're your undergrown balls then, Cat?
She has ovaries. It takes two gametes to make a zygote...
That's the thing about Cat's FF.

Well being honest when i was reading first one i was thinking "What the h*** i'm reading" but then i started like them.
So reading through that top three companions thread, it seems like a lot of people don't like Sera.

Sera is going to be the type of character you'll either love or hate. Same with Vivienne.

*shrugs* Brats/jokesters aren't that likeable to most people anyway.
