Well, Leliana's VA is French so.... she sounds very genuine. Although people from different French speaking countries sound different than people from France. Heck, people sound different in France depending on which part of it they're from. I love southern French accents.

Gonna confirm the "Sound different" thing with my own experience.
Some of the people living across the country speak so... differently... You can instantly tell they're not from around here (here being east of this stuffhole)

There are loads of regional variations in French accents, although I don't find them quite as striking as those in Britain. Maybe that's just because I'm not as used to them

I have to say that Leliana's accent is the only one that sounds like a real person's accent to me. The other Orlesians sound like they're doing a parody French accent, or pronouncing English words as if they were French, without taking into account that most French people who speak English at least have some idea of how it actually should sound.

True but I can't see Dorian singing it as much as Sera. Though it is so that they both might have "bad reputations" Dorian with his leaving the Tevinter mages, and Sera with her dislike for those in power. And they both could give a **** about what anybody think so their choices. So yeah rock on for those two.
