It would be interesting if Sera did differentiate between poor/oppressed humans and rich/noble ones as "not shem" and "shem", especially if she encountered some Dalish.

Dalish elf: Ugh, that Shem!

I like the idea of the terminology meaning different things to different people, there's some realism in that, and it would be a fun way to talk about the intersection of race and class in the game.

I think it's quite possible Sera might use 'Shem' to describe wealthy/noble humans she doesn't like, but I don't think she'd use it as a blanket term for any disagreeable human, because she doesn't so far seem to have a elf v human divide, but a rich v poor divide. She might not though, we will see!

The main problem I have with multiplayer is that I pause A LOT in battles, both in ME and DA. I love to stop and think about tactics. This is obviously impossible in multiplayer so it makes it less interesting to me. It's also why I've never really liked MMOs...

Well... I know a few other ME3 players personally but they're all consolers while I play on PC. I never really made any friends on BSN before. Maybe now I added a few people from this thread on Origin...

I mostly played with randoms, found playing with pals was too easy, enjoyed the challenge of the unknown with randoms. But I did have moar lols with pals when mic'd up.

Not gonna join a group myself, I'll just dive in. If it's anything like the difficulty of ME3 MP I'll be fine. I mainly played on gold difficulty. Took me some time to get comfy there but practice makes perfect and all that.

Yeah I don't even think I'll be that bad, actually. I just have a lot of anxiety about it...probably partially due to being the "token girl" in my high school nerd group and also being less experienced than them, so whenever I messed up it was like this whole "OH GIRLS SUCK AT VIDEOGAMES" crap and I often ended up just watching because I felt like my skill couldn't just exist by itself, I had to be a representative of my gender. Ugh, jerks.
