What games are any of you playing to pass the time until DAI comes out?

I've been playing assassins creed black flag, It's actually pretty fun so far.

Just got Shadow of Mordor which is pretty fun but also, kinda hard. And I'll be getting Assassins Creed: Unity when it releases. I'm pretty much set until DA:I releases.

In 43 hours, you were only chased for 13 minutes? Am I reading that right?

I'm forcing myself to incresease the amount of finished games on my Steam account, right now it's Flatout ultimate carnage, then I'll do the Bioshock infinte and Borderlands 2 DLCs, then...dunno, probably Off-road drive and the original Crysis.

Yup. It counts the total time across all playthrough's (I finished the game twice).

The reason it's only 13 minutes is because I was being exceptionally stealthy most of the time, so much so that the Alien didn't even appear for me at all in some levels.

If my comp could take it, I'd play a modded skyrim... then again I'd also like to have a working Wired controller to play New Vegas....

That's some insane sneakiness you have.

The days until DAI are painfully slow now.... ;_;

Release date is so close but still very far...

Feels like the more close release is the more slowly time goes

I took advantage of the fact that the Alien's AI is dynamic. There aren't many scripted scenes in this game; it's all about how you play.

Nope, not a bug. The Alien AI is dynamic, not static. Aside from a few scripted scenes, whether or not it appears depends on how you play (and how much noise you make).

I'd been playing DA2 again partly to see the Fenris rivalmance that I heard was cool, and partly because Mark of the Assassin came out after I'd already done three playthroughs and I never got round to playing it. I wanted to get to act three before starting it, but I keep getting distracted by this place....

I like the mods for both games, I really wish that FO3 would have a more stable install if you're running Windows 7... =\

My favorite mod for Fallout 3, is the Mothership Zeta Crew, which adds even more stuff to do for the Mothership Zeta expansion.

Speaking of expansions, who hopes that instead of one off quests for DLC, we actually get like a full on expansion a`la Awakening?

I would love that.

I'm still sad that EA ditched the Exalted March for DA2. :(

Well they have said that it got folded into DAI, so it still sorta exists.

Yeah, I know.

I would have liked a reason to continue playing DA2 for a bit longer, though. I thought the DLC for that game was the best part of it. An expansion sounded like it would have been awesome.

I've been playing Expeditions: Conquistador. Which is a recent turn based RPG where you manage an expedition to the New World. Solid logistics mechanics, combat and branching narrative dialogue bits.

Though right now I feel like a good action game and I haven't played one of those in a long while.

These days I don't see the point in releasing feature length content that requires the base game. If you're going to the trouble of making that much content you might as well just bundle it with the core assets and release it as a standalone and not restrict your sales to the audience who have already bought the previous game.

But yes I would prefer longer more expensive content over shorter cheaper content.

Banter! Cooking lesson with Snootyquisitor!

Snootyquisitor: Mmh, mmh, now just let me toss the cubed meat with some flour. *does so*

Sera: You could just throw it into the pot.

Snootyquisitor: Shush! Now I will place the coated cubes in a pan with hot butter. That will make a tasty crust!

Sera: Sounds like a lot of work for nothing.

Snootyquisitor: Close your mouth and open your ears! You might learn something. Now I will add the meat to the broth.

Sera: About time. So you've got anymore fancy stuff to add in there?

Snootyquisitor: Fie! You will sing a different tune when I am done! Now a splash of vinegar in the cream...

Sera: Cream and vinegar? Ewww! I'm not touching that!

Snootyquisitor: Tsk. Patience! *adds cream mixture to the pot* Now some diced onions and mushrooms... Voilà! Now we wait!

*two hours later*

Snootyquisitor: Now, ye of little faith, have a taste and tell me what you think.

Sera: *takes a bite* ... It's...kinda good, actually.

Snootyquisitor: Your eloquence still needs work, but your taste is improving. That is something.

Sera: You couldn't just leave me alone, could you?

Snootyquisitor: No.

Sera: You're going to keep pestering me forever, aren't you?

Snootyquisitor: Yes.

I say that SnootyQuisitor should be a Qunari. Just cause of the comedic value that would bring.

I'm playing Morrowind for the first time ever, just started playing it yesterday actually. I have a feeling that it will keep me occupied right until DAI comes out.  ^_^
