She's got a GTX750.

 

I'm afraid it's the card. To my knowledge, the gaming-worthwhile cards from NVidia are the X60's and higher.

Let's face it, the 750 isn't ultimately crap, but it's not top of the line, either.

 

But hey, at least you're fine with it running, am I right, Alexia?

 

Edit: If it's true and Alien: Isolation has trouble with NVidia's drivers, I may be wrong and it may be the game, not the card.

 

Speaking about cards, I should probably run a thorough maintenance and integrity check on my 770. It feels like I may have killed it off in some four months. My PAYDAY 2 frames have dropped from stable 130 to a 30-100FPS instability. Not... good...

Have you tried any other games? Could be a problem with just Alien Isolation..

Hum..not really . Since all other games..always played well on my old crappy HD graphic card . I still gonna try DAO..and see if any of the Mass effect look good *Glare* like in your picture  Cose all mine had this shadows coming from everywhere..and at some point (In ME3)..I couldnt even see my femshep face anymore lol

That card cost me an arm y'know...........200$!!! ...thats alot for a poor sod like meh....

I've managed to update my post, check the edit. The mission parameters have... changed slightly, thus the edit.

 

And 200 bucks is a lot of money to make, as I've learned... I shudder when I remember how much my card cost me. Plus the power supply unit. Ouch.

Oh well, worth it for DA:I!

Well that's the point. Try an old game, turn up the graphics settings to high and see how well it works.

Ohh thanx ! well..I could always do the Orlesian thing and use the arm to slap peoples with like they did in the Past with a glove

Yay! This is what I like to hear! Lovely Shadow-free Shep! So at least you know that your card was indeed an upgrade. Sadly with PCs it can always be the case that one game gives you problems, as seems to be happening with yours and Alien. Hopefully you won't get such issues with DAI!

And I also tried and raised all in Remember Me ! And OMG! SHE LOOK SO GORGEOUS (well she did before..but I could also feel the lag , especially during those mission of rewind)...well I was on Low...and no antiliasing..its going faster...my eyes hurt   

Seriously..I'm not used to upgrading ! 

1st time I raised resolution in DAO...I was in shock ! Wynn had wrinkles and Leliana had colored eyes....omg....

 

Ohhh damn..I wish I had Skyrim installed...that sweet candles lights....argghhhhhh.......I wish I had it now installed..and modded..I bet it would look sweeet sweet..

Each time I see a new bit of banter or comment by a character, I suddenly find them more interesting. I wasn't really bothered about Blackwall or Solas, but having seen a couple of snippets from Blackwall at the Storm Coast, and Solas in DA Fan's gameplay video, I find myself more intrigued by both of them. I rarely meet a Bioware companion character that isn't at least interesting to me, even if I don't like them.

I've been very careful only to watch vids by Bioware fans. Wouldn't trust anyone else not to give major spoilers. The only vids I'd watch from elsewhere would be those specifically about CC or combat. Things that didn't involve major story elements.
