Hello, Sera thread!
I feel a bit better, enough to log in for a couple of minutes to post some of the artworks I commissioned at the Con. There's only one that is Dragon Age-themed, though, so let me know if I should refrain from posting the other ones or not.

Catching up on the last few pages, I had absolutely no idea who y'all were nerdgasming over.  Reminds of my time at London Comic Con, my sis is big into comics, she was getting super excited looking through all the different graphic novels and books and such and there's me standing there like a dweep holding her jacket and her bags, confused and sorta amused by it all.

 

I will use them all, maximum banter reasons, don't dislike anyone as of now so I'm not gonna discriminate on my first run.

Based on that chart, Blackwall is the only uninteresting one to me...but I keep reminding myself that he's on Team Vulgar, so he can't be too boring!

He was written by Sheryl so I have positive vibes towards him myself, yep I'm bias, I enjoyed all the characters she wrote. Being part of team Vulgar is a plus, he will get a run alongside the Bull and Sera for sure.

 

The only thing for me tho is since Sera is my perma rogue and I'm gonna be a warrior, I'll be less inclined to bring 2 rogues around with me. So that might mean Varric and Cole will be sitting in Skyhold alot.

Judging by that old tavern concept art and the description of 'He's not better than them. At the end of the day, after all the talk about good and protecting people, he's going to want to have a round of drinks with the rest of the troops and share stories...' it looks like he has a sense of humour. I can see why him, IB and Sera might get on well - I expect at least one drinking contest cutscene. :S

I like her writing too, she's done a lot of my favorites. I'm just not interested in the "duty, honor, srs noble" kind of characters generally. I'm sure BW will be much more than that boring trope, but since I have no idea how yet, I'm not as excited.

Still debating about what class to roll first. Man...choices. I want to keep Sera around...like a lot. If I play as a qunari first, that's feasible....but I guess I can work a 2 rogue/mage/warrior something other group.

(I was gonna try romancing Alistair this playthrough...but I saw this sister/brother dynamic that I can't unsee.)
