You should check out BSG, great show and you can see where ME ripped off soooooooooo much of it's material. First 3 seasons were my favourite, thought it went downhill then, and I hated the ending. Starbuck.

Remember I said about the two lesbians who are on the team next to me in work? One of them totally looks like Starbuck. She was quite pleased when I told her.

Agreed 100% about BSG. It was excellent right up to the ending. I think ME owes a lot to other TV sci-fi too, though. Plenty of Babylon 5 in there, too, for example.

I still haven't finished BSG.  One day I might care enough to bother, if only to see more Katee Sackhoff.... which is NEVER a bad thing.

 

 

 

Babylon 5  remains utter brilliance, while Farscape  is simply the best.

Farscape takes a long time to get going but it's good when it does.
Still prefer Firefly though and like all Firefly fans, I'm butthurt there's only one season of it.

My colleague is pretty damn cool, but we are both married... To women!

I wholeheartedly recommend B5. You need to get past the 90s SFX and season one drags a bit, but it is my favourite sci-fi show ever. Season four in particular is just amazing. Also it has some badass female characters.

Talking of Firefly and ME, I still love that Mark Meer and Nathan Fillion are friends in real life.

The way some people stopped to cheer him on while he charged at the troll was kinda awkward to me. It just seemed outta place lol.

I got the impression that that was just how things worked with the Chargers, that Bull himself would only ever take the time to fight the biggest thing in the battle(in this case, the troll) and then his men would kinda circle around and cheer him on. Like how in movies/games when the hero challenges someone to a duel and then they get encircled by a bunch of people watching them fight and cheering.
