I have a very low threshold for this stuff, I don't want to see any more banter or dialogue, for example....and I left because people were posting banter without spoil tagging it and replying to spoiler tagged posts with replies that revealed what they were talking about. Most of the people did tag and they are all so lovely, I wasn't mad....but I don't expect people to not mess up sometimes or have different ideas of what should be hidden, especially with a character who is in all the preview footage and now in the prologue, so I left.

As long as the spoilers are in tags, no. But if they just get dumped in the middle of a thread that you're reading, it can be tough to avoid them. Also we all have different ideas of what a spoiler may be, so the more stuff is out there, the more likely that you might see something you didn't want to.

You have no idea how much I detest being spoiled, I will go to crazy lengths to avoid things getting ruined for me. If folk are courteous they will tag them but not all people can be trusted to do this and just blurt out info I didn't want to see. Did I mention how much I hate being spoiled?

Yeah there is a lot of banter and dialogue posted. Totally understandable.

Dudes and bi/straight women are welcome here and the ones who are here don't take over the conversations to be about het relationships (or gay men)....which is to me, a lovely balance and more difficult to come by than you'd imagine.

Yes. Yes they are.

It's a little fresh for me. This is the first time I don't want to be spoiled anything.

It's also the first time I'm around a major story-based game's release.

 

This is all new for me as I've never been around for a game release. I'm getting rather nervous now.

 

I've been around a few game releases... Nothing the kind of DA is.

All I can say: Don't be nervous, it'll be juuuust fine. I hope. I have no experience with RPG releases!

Not actually sure if it's the "whole" prologue or not, just that the prologue will be shown, (unless that's been said?), but given that their gameplay streams are about an hour usually and that's how long most estimates of the prologue's length (1-2 hours) are...

 

edit: i think they said "we will show the prologue", not part of it, so that adds to that
