I find going on youtube and finding a boring, technical video with a person who talks soft really helps me fall asleep. Dim the screen so the light doesn't keep you awake too.

I'll be spoiling myself ever so slightly on the reviews, though I'm only gonna look at the game's summarized pros/cons and its overall score from different sites.

Planning to do the same myself. I enjoy brief spoiler-free reviews that don't deviate too much from the main point.

Reviews are more of a help than a hindrance to spoilers I think. If Inquisition got a good score then it might mean there's plenty of content worth not spoiling, and if it gets a negative score, then maybe there's not much worth your time anyway.

I stopped reading reviews years ago. I have loved games reviewers hated and I've hated games reviewers loved, only opinion I care about is my own.

Not planning on seeking out any reviews before I play.

 

 I'm getting the game, no questions asked, so on that level, I don't need reviews to help me.....and honestly, I don't know enough about any specific game reviewer to know if I like their style or find them useful. If RPS does a review, I'll read it, since that's really the only gaming site I check on a semi-regular basis.

I think alot of it comes down to insecurities and irrational fear of being duped somehow, just waiting for them to leave me for a man and such. Personally speaking I've had bad experiences with bisexual women which have left me a little wary to date another, not gonna write them off completely tho. That would be unfair but once bitten and all that, I guess I was just unlucky I suppose. :S

I tend to check out some reviews before I make an expensive game purchase because I need to know what I'm getting for that 50-60 euros that I want to spend. Then again, I hardly buy anything at full price anymore due to Steam sales. I tend to not look at reviews when I buy BioWare games though because my opinion on their games is mostly higher than the reviewers' and I don't want 'em pooping on my parade.  I just pre-order, disappear for a while when I start playing it, and check reviews waaaay later.

Oh that was a great idea! I'll find it when I'm not on mobile because despite the forums being optimized for phones very well outside of groups, they oddly don't work well on it.
