Snootyquisitor: Entirely lost on your crude palate. Go away! *makes shooing motion*

 

Sera: Aww, don't be like that! *takes a peek* Bread and cheese?!

 

Snootyquisitor: *defensive* So?

 

Sera: That's pretty... simple.

 

Snootyquisitor: *still defensive* Your point?

 

Sera: You're just going to eat it like that?

 

Snootyquisitor: Of course not! I'm going to slice the bread, butter it, put the cheese between the slices and cook the lot in a griddle! That will make the bread golden and crunchy while the cheese will melt into a gooey glob of goodness!

 

Sera: Still sounds pretty simple. Even with the big words.

Sera: ... Can I have one of those?

Sometime this week. I haven't started writing it yet. I'm still brainstorming. I got the day off on Tuesday so I'll probably spend the day on it.

Perhaps if Leliana is with us she'll simply sigh in relief upon reading a letter saying all is well on the warden front. We shall find out soon.

There are ways around that though. Just have Leliana go be with them during, or at the end of the game. I'd do that to get the happy ending I've been waiting years for.

Exactly! Comfort foods trump all! Grilled cheese sandwiches, bread pudding, chicken noodle soup, potato gratin... Delicious and comforting! Yum! (unless you're a vegan. Then most of these would cause grumpy tummy.)

 

I wonder if Sera would like any of those... I could see her liking croque-monsieur for the sheer irony factor. (it's basically a grilled cheese sandwich with ham in it. The name sounds similar to 'croqueuse d'homme' which means a woman who chases men.)
