I'm actually considering watching the Stream...after it gets put on Youtuber. Spoilers don't really bother me too much. For reference, I was there when DA2's plot was being spoiled to hell and read about Hawke's mom being killed and that didn't really bother me, by the time I had even got to that point in the game I had forgotten about it.

Well, I guess it explains the unguided missile that flew through the apartment when the cat fell in the bath...

My spoiler philosophy's gonna be based around reviews. If it's great, then I want nothing spoiled. If it's bad, then I'll probably be refunding my preorder anyway.

Yeah I knew about Anders before I played, but I forgot.
So my concern is more that the first hour would feel like a rehash of something I already played, rather than something new and exciting.
Serza, did it seem to you like there was a lot of unique content there that wouldn't do that, or is it pretty linear? As vaguely as you can answer, of course. XD

There's apparently at least once optional bit that consists of a more difficult fight and better rewards.
In regards to it feeling like something you've already played, I think as long as you're not picking the same exact dialogues and choices as them, then it wouldn't be too bad, at least in my opinion.

Huh. They showed something similar in a previous stream. Some choices are harder but more rewarding while the easy way is, well, easy.

I'm still not going to spoil myself. The opening scene, no matter how good or bad, is still the point of immersion for me. If it's not interesting, it will get me to a point where "I can't be bothered right now to run to my PS4, tear of the plastic wrapping and force it into the console." But that's just me.

All the Vallaslin options
Wow! Thanks for that! So glad they at least resemble some of the vallaslin tattoos from DAO! Now I'm gonna have to decide between the bottom three tattoos or the the second one from the right on the second row. I always chose the tattoo resembles that one when playing a Dalish in DA:O - it was the only one I liked lol (not fond of tattoos, especially facial ones - sorry!).

I'm going to tear off the plastic and open the case then take the disc and insert in my PS4 then eject and repeat *wink wink*

Well, you wake up in place A...
You see person A and person B...
Person A tells you you have to go place B...
You travel to place B through place C...
You meet person C and person D at place C...
You travel to place B together with persons A, C and D... in a VERY linear fashion. The Prologue is also a tutorial.
About half way between places C and B, you meet person E.
When you finally arrive at place B, you fight enemy A.
When you kill enemy A, you fall unconscious and wake up... back in place A, I guess.
One thing I'm going to spoil: There are ******************** SPIDERS in the Fade!
And I think that prior to fighting enemy A, you find out who exactly is the glowy person in the Fade we all know about.
Your character doesn't remember what happened in the Fade (ie you fall unconscious and wake up back in the real world)

Well, Twitch is not working for me at all, so it's like they saved me from my own lack of self-control.
Sounds pretty linear then, from what you guys said, so it's probably for the best.
