Watched the Stream, nothing too bad. I saw a few areas that I wanted to look at but they didn't go into and they didn't pick any of the dialogue choices I would have, so I'm not going to be hearing the exact same things again. Then again, my memory sucks, so even if I did pick their same choices, I probably wouldn't remember what the responses were.

I don't prefer them, I like both equally since the games they make are quite different, even if they're all rpgs.

There are some things that Bioware does better than Bethesda and vice versa, I like them both.

Do the Fallout games have companions like the BioWare games, that's what made me fall for BioWare.

 

They have companions but you can only have one with you at a time. You can also have a dog or a flying robot with you as well.

It's not like I think that Bethesda games are bad, myself. Far from it. I just hold story as the most important part of my RPG experience, and I think that in that respect Bioware win pretty much hands down.

Bioware has great stories but I love the sense of freedom I have with my character in Fallout.

fallout 3 felt a little too empty for me. i enjoyed it but i like having companions around me

Yes, but you can only have one at a time. They also don't have the same depth of conversations as in Bioware's games, expecially in Fallout 3. Still, they're fun characters to have around.

Fallout 3 is not the best rpg ever, as far as I'm concerned, and yeah, the story doesn't compare to those in Bioware's games, but...it's still a solid rpg, I had fun playing it.

You always have to pick your dog at the end. It's not a game without your trusty hound.

 

And in Fallout NV, it's a cyborg dog with human (I think) brain.
