I prefer New Vegas as it feels more "complex" in terms of factions, but Fallout 3 is super atmosopheric. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

 

Bethesda, Bioware, and Obsidian are my three favorite RPG makers! Nice to see people enjoying all of them instead of pitting them against eachother, haha.

who is serana? Jenassa was the only npc in skyrim that lowkey made a pass at me...something about "the world can be a lonely place" and she said she was good company or something other. One of my housecarls, Lydia, fought by my side mostly. Oh and the one Khajit lady merchant outside of whiterun...she tried to holla at a young Nord too *snicker*

now what was the wolf Companions name again...I wanted HER. something with an 'A'. for some reason I was always drawn to her and that one priestess.

Sera: So, are you ready?

Cadash: Pretty sure, but I got a question, couldn't you do this yourself?

Sera: (snorts) I take a knife and no mirror to my hair, trust me love you don't want me cutting your hair. As much as it pains me to admit it, (sigh) you need someone who takes great pains in their appearance.

Vivienne: Recognizing one's limitations is the key to improving oneself my dear.

Sera: (feral growl)

Cadash: Watch it.

Vivienne: (rolls her eyes) A thousand apologizes, shall we begin Inquisitor? (Cadash nods) Good. (gestures to her handmaiden who begins brushing and cutting her hair) The key to a good shaved head is maintenance darling, it will help it look distinguished. Also will complement your facial hair, good decision to keep it. I expect you to come to me for regular upkeep.

Cadash: Yes Mom.

Sera: (snickering)

Vivienne: (death glare to Sera)

Sera: What? I'm not distracting you am I? mutters *not like you're actually doing anything yourself*

Cadash: Ladies play nice.

Sera: Anything for you dear! (blows Vivienne a kiss)

Vivienne: Always a delight Sera, I enjoy your company (out of Cadash's field of vision draws a finger across her throat and points at Sera, turns back to her handmaiden) How is she coming along?

Handmaiden: Quite well m'lady.

Vivienne: It's pronounced 'my lady'. Proper etiquette all the time. Almost done. Good job, helps that you have the right head for the look.

Sera: She's more than (finger quotes) "quite well", let me tell you. Once you two are gone I'm gonna be riding her till the sun comes up.

Cadash: (smirks) Promises promises.

Vivienne: Charming. Well would you look at that, all done. (to her handmaiden) Clean this up, what are you waiting for? Inquisitor, (directing Cadash towards the mirror) what do you think?

Sera: (predatory look in her eyes) Good enough to eat.

Cadash: (returns the look) It looks wonderful Vivienne, thank you very much. (turns to her handmaiden) And thank you for everything, you're great.

Handmaiden: Why-

Vivienne: That will be all. Inquisitor (inclines her head, turns and leaves with her handmaiden in tow).

Sera: GOODBYE VIVIENNE!!!

Cadash: You're terrible.

Sera: You love it. Now come over here and let me show you how much I like your new look.

serana is a vampire from dawnguard and is very popular

So if I was to get either Fallout 3 or Fallout NV which one would you recommend?

 

I'd say New vegas for better interaction with the companions, deeper gameplay and story, more varied colours in the world...Fallout 3 is very green.

A vampire in the Dawnguard dlc, she can become a companion.

I still haven't played Dawngaurd, but I've heard people cite Serana as an example of how Bethesda can do (and should do more of) really great characterization, so it's on my list whenever there's a Steam sale next....I mean, after I play my 10000000 hours of DA:I first.

Fallout NV ultimate edition was 13.50 on Amazon so I put that Amazon Prime to good use. It's supposed to be here on the 12th. Tomorrow I've got to start dawnguard.

I agree with this 100%!  I think Obsidian might be the best game developer out there.  If they could just get better budgets, better development times their games would be unreal.  Alpha Protocol is still one of my fav games of all time.

I like the Last Court now that I a) understand how to play and chilled out and only check it 2-3 times a day when I have full actions.
