And, personally, it is exciting to finally have a face and name for our first ever lesbian companion. Now that this is an actual reality, that fact means more to me then I thought it would.

Probability wise, that makes this worse since with 2/2/2 there was a 16.67% chance of Sera being gay while with 2/4/2 it was dropped to 12.5%. There's still Cassandra and hopefully Scribbles for my male playthroughs though.

 

Is anyone really surprised she's an SS romance only?

When I was feeling torn between Cassandra and Sera I came very close to saying "I hope Sera is just female-only so that I don't have to make a decision".

 

Looks like I got my unspoken wish, though it's probably a good thing I didn't post it or some people might be biting my head off right now.

 

It is great though! I'll be taking Cassandra and Sera everywhere. She, Cass  and my male Elf will all be extreme do-gooders, but each will have different proprieties and an entirely different outlook on what is "right". It should be a fun rollercoaster ride as they save the world while constantly arguing over the small details.

I actually thought she would be male only or bi. I didn't think BW would restrict not only a companion but an elf to male characters. I'm actually happy to be wrong. It's really cool to see a companion as a f/f only option.

Lelianna, Merrill and Isabella were all bisexual and definitelly not aimed just at guys

And Sera has always had that vibe of "sisters before misters" IMHO

I'm sure Cassandra will be straight, but I find Cassandra to be a lot prettier than Sera, so bestest and hottest seem to be very subjective. I would romance Cassandra with my dwarf male. I do like Sera's personality more though. Isabella seems to be aiming at guys. The whole "bisexual girls are hot since we can join in with them". I get that vibe from Samantha with the whole girls shower together thing they show.
