Stop-started a bit watching the stream and doing other stuff... I don't think that there was anything in it that I wasn't expecting given what they'd shown before. I really do like the job Miranda Raison is doing as Cass.

I've a feeling that I may annoy her a little with my non-chantryness, but she doesn't seem to be as dogmatic as I'd feared based on that the couple of reactions to the options that Mike chose, so maybe I'll not be in quite so much conflict with her as I'd feared. We shall see...

I agree with this 100%!  I think Obsidian might be the best game developer out there.  If they could just get better budgets, better development times their games would be unreal.  Alpha Protocol is still one of my fav games of all time.
 

 

KOTOR2 for me. I think that a lot of their flaws come from their own over-ambition, because they seem to bite off more than they can chew and instead of making a good game, they still want to make a great one so they end up having big holes in it. Like in KOTOR2 you can see this with all these ridiculous things they prioritized over like...finishing the main story first  LucasArts rushed them, but if they'd prioritized better at first, it wouldn't have been such a problem. But the restored content mod version of KOTOR2 is so freaking amazing, even if it doesn't have *everything* there. 

 

I am super pumped for Pillars of Eternity though, because it sounds like they have done a lot better with managing that problem.

yeah it looks like she is actually rather annoyed with the Chantry at the moment.  Seems as long as you don't spout off about the maker and just insult the chantry itself she will get along wife with ya.

I'm guessing jokester, self-interested, and non-Andrastrian characters will suffer unavoidable approval hits with Cass at first, but have chances to make up for it as time goes on.

KOTOR2 for me. But I also remember listening to an interview with Chris where he said that he wrote the romances for AP because he had to, and the only "romance" from KOTOR2 that he would actually want to flesh out is Female Exile x Scion because he only likes "painful, unrequited, awful love" or something so...maybe....it's a good thing they aren't.

Wow well they are rather good at writing stuff they do not like then.  I thought all the romances from Alpha Protocol fit into the game well.  And In KOTOR2 I loved the whole Visas Marr storyline even if it was not 100% a romance.

Haha, indeed. Did any of you get the ending where Kreia( I forget how too spell her name ) essentially congratulates you during the final confrontation? She called me her greatest student a true Lord of the Sith it was pretty epic I wont lie I totally felt boss.

I know this won't help you much but I am now 100% sold that I am using this voice and not Samantha Traynor's.  It fits SO much better.  At least for me that is.

The first time I played it was after the Restored Content Mod came out, lmao, so I was lucky there. I also looked up how to get all the Influence ahead of time....which I'm very glad for, because without getting all the scenes, you miss out on so much. God that game was a mess, but a beautiful one.

She's good, and I will certainly use her at some point, but not for my initial Elf. Will stick with Alix.
