Yup, the body
.
I'd have preferred a more average build. Or Solas' model.
The human model is Not exactly What I wanted as well (i don't understand shy they made him so muscolar. We already have Aunari and dwarves full of muscles), but I prefer it for my first now.
I wish the bodies were somewhat customizable too. I generally prefer to make my warrior women a bit butcher and more muscly than games usually let me. Most games make the generic female body pretty skinny and busty. I LOVED how in Saints Row you could add muscles to any body type and go from a scrawny stick up to a roided up body builder. Helps you find the character you want better.
Reading these comments makes me think again about why I have actually begun to prefer to play as women in these games. I wonder if it's because I just don't identify at all with the "muscled action hero" type. That's certainly one reason why I have little interest in playing with warriors. I'm a tall man, but I wear medium sized T-shirts. I've no upper body bulk and I don't want any. I want to play clever characters who succeed by skill and wits, not by power and bulk. The male body model in DA2 for example didn't work well as a mage or rogue for me. Added to that the fact that I preferred the female VA, and that's maybe why I preferred to play Female Hawke. To a lesser extent I think that this is true for playing as a biotic Shepard in ME. My canon Shepard is a biotic FemShep. I suppose I just prefer cool powers to brute force and big weapons.
I wonder if this is also why I don't have a great desire to play as a Qunari... It's certainly why Iron Bull's trailer didn't impress me.
No plans to change my initial female elf character. I still not sure between mage and rogue, though...
