I'm sure we go to that place in any case, but how and when might vary based on our choices. I'll make sure to level up my agents as much and as soon as possible.

See, the original comment I recall reading is we can avoid going to that whole place altogether. But then it was suggested that we go there anyway but we don't necessarily have to pick Leliana for the job.

 

It's all speculation, of course. The only official word we got, as far as I know, is that it is somehow avoidable.

And as I was saying before, that whole demo you saw, in the last half of it, when you’re fighting with Alexius and Felix, not all the players are going to see that, because going into that area is the result of a branching choice in the game. So you may have picked another area and you wouldn’t be going into that castle at all, you’d be going somewhere else entirely.
